I needed this! I provide a service based beauty business and I was confused on what to do. I needed my business registered bad. As a lash artist in Delaware it is not a regulated service so it doesn’t require us to have an esthetician license but I am relocating to Atlanta and to do lashes you need to have your esthetician license there. They require more hours in GA, so I have to go back to esthetician school to complete additional hours. I’ve been worried about what to do and now I know. Thank you

I called the IRS and was told I can use the same EIN and just change the address to my new state.
On the state level I will need to dissolve then reform. Confused about the EIN situation though.

Looking for a suggestion. I am going to purchase 2 lots from 2 cousins. One issue is 1 cousin purchased a 50% ownership from an aunt in 1 of the lots. unfortunately, my aunt passed away last year. My cusson cannot find any paper work regarding the purchas. Another cusson (my aunt only daughter and sole heir) is aware of the lot sale (money was paid for the lot) an is willing to sign any document required. I’ve got an LLC in NE, but I’m in CO now and want to create another LLC under my umbrella. I plan to move back to NE but would likely have someone operating CO for me. Do I do a DBA in NE and then foreign entity in co? Or other way around?
One thing I know that she's wrong about is that you don't have to get a new EIN. As long as it's a sole proprietorship you can create as many businesses as you want under the one EIN.
