i like this way of receiving lazer updates, it gets me more and more excited for lazer, and is actually making me contemplate switching

Same! I actually look forward to these videos. Although updates like for the editors don’t directly affect me, it’s just good to see it being ever-improving and that it benefits the entire player base.
I also always love the presentation of these videos, this one is even more special because of COE, but even the normal ones are genuinely entertaining thanks to pishi

these videos are so cool. they are entertaining but it's also so satisfying to see performance improvements
I think it would be really cool if there was a translator built into the chat, allowing people from different parts of the world who speak languages like Japanese, Chinese, Russian and others to communicate more easily. This would create an even more communicative community where everyone could interact, regardless of the language they speak.

This would create a big influx of "lost in translation" issues though. It would be nice to have it as an option, but not having it at all is not worrysome. Having one that's always applied would definitely be not useful, as many words of the languages you listed have no direct meaning to, say, English. Or they use less words to express more meaning, which leads to issues.
@@TX2015 it would be cool to have it as something like a button next to the message maybe with an option in settings to do it by default

Great to see so many new things and changes in this update! I especially like the addition of kiai flashes, they really make the main menu look more alive. Now I can't wait for menu snow. ;)

Osu!lazer looks very promising to me now, i cannot wait for the full skinning support and the full final release. I have been trying it out many times and i'm happy how much has it gone sofar! ❤ Thanks peppy for these amazing updates on lazer!

I think a change that would be needed would for osu! lazer beta. It is always full when I try to play the beta on my phone.
There's one suggestion i'd like to make regarding audio/latency. Maybe this has already been brought up but different latency for input should be implemented. For mobile especially latency should be divided in audio (for Bluetooth) and input (touch screens have at best 50ms of latency and this would also benefit wireless keyboards). Some good examples of this implementation are sonolus and cytoid. This would massively improve the mobile experience and help some lowend computers with taiko/mania
anything with audio latency is not playing hitsounds. hitsounds are central to osu! gameplay and therefore we don't offer an audio latency setting. please plug headphones in when playing for the best experience.

It would be cool if someday you can add a battle mode like guitar hero 3. Where each person hits a certain combo of the song and get a power up to use on the other player to make them fail. Dont see it possible but it would be really cool and fun

Question for peppy if possible, is there a easy way of importing tablet settings from stable to lazer? I tired making my settings match the stable but it just feels somehow off.

if you had weird offset issues then you won't anymore. but this was already released a week ago in a hotfix

Ive never thought that lazer could handle 60 fps on low power mode within a single update. It barely sustained 20 fps before Well done!
What about the lazer's framework still ignoring any custom monitor refresh rates? It really sucks to play on 60hz instead of 75 without going borderless and having a really huge latency.
