@@sagarshah6616 yes I’m not Indian so when I first tried Indian food I noticed it was a bit greasy and someone said “oh yeah that’s because of ghee” it was delicious though 😩
@@whowantsbrowncheese1684 yupp but simply replacing ghee with some vegan butter makes it taste really similar (although not as tasty as ghee). Or else you can not add anything as ghee/butter is not really an essential component in most dishes, it's there just as a garnish/taste enhancer.

The thing about Indian vegan dishes is, we don't try to mimic meat dishes and definitely don't try to create a plant based version of it, nope, we have so many absolutely original and freaking delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes that you won't even feel the need for any meat or meat imitation.

As a non veg eater who eats only chicken and sea foods.. I tried vegan food in Hyderabad, India a Vegan restuarant.. plant based stuff actually tasted like meat.. but expensive was good experience..
And if u r a vegetarian* u can forget meat in India.. vegetarian even vegan food tastes delicious and beats meat taste here..
Alot of meals hold their own without meat!

even if u have different dish for 3 times a everyday for 365 days. still you wont repeat a single dish. every state has hundred of their own vegan dishes. i m from haryana and veg and probably i can count over 50 dishes that are veg. some are not vegan cause indian moslty consume natural A2 protein milk directly from local people who raise cows as their mother . outside india its A1 milk which is not good for u and form the basis of most vegan researches.
Going vegan is easy and delicious in India.

@Anastazija Hankins @6:12 - the curry has paneer in it. @6:34 its a cheesy garlic naan 😊... Nothing wrong though, I eat meat as well... Since you mentioned only vegan , I was wondering.
@Anastazija Hankins the cubes are usually Paneer which is Indian cottage cheese. I am an Indian and I know Indians don't use Tofu.
If you are certain then its its fine they might have used tofu...

Naan traditionally is not vegan , they add Milk and yogurt/curd. If u are a vegan u need to check for the ingredients. Also chocolate brownie and icecream ?? Was that vegan ?

Actually u are eating in the wrong way 😂 , indians never eat any dish alone , every curry or dish is supported by bread or rice to balance the spice , this is one of the reasons why non Indians find our food spicy , they think we just eat curry alone without bread
