I can hear all the Indian mums "I can make that at home" too loudly during the vid.
Lol my mom said that to me yesterday.
Yaaaaaaas 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 She just DID !!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahahahaha... They literally can 😂😂
My mom AF!
Am I secretly an Indian mum because I was just thinking that?! 😱
Being an Indian I would say that
The higher the price went it became less Indian
You are goddammmn right!
I could barely watch through the menu after the first place. I hate fusion food while im an immigrant myself........ tho the korean so no indian food thing~ i got it. I started eating the spices related food even after university. For me, curry was just curries since every southeast asian country has their own..
As a random white dude from NYC I have to agree, the lower priced restaurants tend to be more authentic to the cuisine as I’ve experienced it. I’m no expert, obv, but as a frequent customer of a bunch of restaurants and an owner of a South Indian cookbook I agree.
Yes you are correct the third one was not so Indian food....
As I am an Indian
That's how it works for any culture
The more expensive it gets, the less traditional it gets. People generally make cheap good food at home, not $800 meals
Love how the women who owned the store kissed Lilly on the head.
Indian aunts and moms love showing affection like that, she kissed her like Lilly was her own daughter ❤️
it was very much top tier mom behavior and i love it

I strongly agree, and Badmaash is what Indian food places sell to Indians when Indians get bored of eating Indian food
I have been to Samosa House in Culver City!

as an arab my heart feels so happy even tho im not indian i grew up around indian food. in my school cafeteria my favourite thing to get was the samosa😌😌
same i lived in Saudi Arabia and studied in Indian school. Gave me chance to try most of the dishes.
I’m Fijian Australian (living in aus Rn) and I have SO MANY Indian friends and they have the BEST food
I have lived in an Arab country as an Indian and I tried sambusa and jalabia which was the original place where samosa actually came from. Just so you know Arab is a birthplace of samosa and jalebi. And you are always welcome to India. As an Indian woman I wish I can guide you to good places to eat.

Non-vegans: vegetarian food is bland and there are only few dishes to eat.
Indian chef: yeah man just a few million dishes
Aren’t vegan and vegetarian two different things?
ManglonaCentral Yes they are. Vegans don’t eat anything that comes from animals (for example milk and eggs) whereas vegetarians don’t eat meat but still eat eggs and milk (for example don’t eat beef but will eat milk and eggs)
@@elisep4322 in India I don't think vegetarian people eat eag

I’m not trying to be funny but the stereotype where vegetarianism is just salads and green yucky bland leaves is so dumb
My family rarely eats meat and it’s still really REALLY tasty food, it’s all about the right spices and herbs used...also creativity helps
ikr? i eat meat but its rarely as well. most indians who are non vegetarian dont eat meat everyday. its more like a sunda ythink or once in two weeks thing. our diet is mostly 95 percent vegetarian and its just so delicious. plus majority of the things shown here are street foods. a typical indian eats very simple food. since im from north of india, its daal, sabzi, roti, bhaat, dahi and achaar for me.
I had a tikka paneer wrap once in Leicester and it tasted even better than some of the chicken tikka wraps I've had

Growing up as a Turk I’d take traditional food with me (poğça, börek etc) to school and people would always say my food smelt bad or that it was weird. So I stopped taking that food with me and started taking plain sandwiches on white bread. And I’ve only just started embracing my culture and food and realised how beautiful it all is. So seeing people enjoying and respecting food that is foreign to them is amazing to me, and one of the main reasons I started embracing my culture more. I’m not Indian, but this video and the message of respecting cultures behind it just gives me serotonin.

@Donald J. Trump Yeah but biryani is very popular in India, so we just call it an Indian dish 🥰
Pulao is Afghan dish not indian , Pulao is cooked with tasty beef in it.
@Donald J. Trump both are Persian. Naan and tandoori food is also from turkey/Persia etc. Indian food especially from Punjab( most people familar with Indian food eat Punjabi food which has it's roots in Persia) is a Spicer version of Persian food. Even samoosa is originally from iraq it's called sambosa there in India it has potatoes and peas but there are other variants.
Biryani is actually Indian. It was first made during time of the Mughal rulers from middle east when they ruled Delhi.
Its more like " am i a joke to u?"
I loved Lilly’s little reactions every time they compared the food to other foods they have had, like loaded nachos
I actually love their comparisons. I love showing my friends Indian food (their Mexican and there are so many transitional flavors...I've found that if someone loves Mexican food they will love Indian) and I've used their comparisons to explain foods for front of my friends.
Indian food can be overwhelming to figure out what to order and I love showing my friends that they can go beyond chicken butter Masala
I’m so mad I only discovered how delicious Indian food was last year. My family was super white and we either had Irish or Italian food. Maybe Chinese twice a year and that was it. I tried Indian food when my husband got some for dinner and I was shocked how incredible it was. Now it’s become a staple in our diet. So mad all the time I’ve missed out on it!
As an Indian, I can safely say that more expensive it went the food became less Indian.

It's fun to taste different things rather than sticking to the tradition...
Very true Gautham NS.The indian aspect of the dish was taken over by gourmet
Yessss

I love that Lilly keeps looking straight into the camera and my soul.
Did anybody else see Zach passed out on Keith’s shoulder after the second restaurant and just think about how cute he is and how nice Keith is because he was holding his arm in place.
I can’t wait until Eugene takes them to Korean restaurants.
Actually Eugene did take them on an Asian food tour I guess you would say and it contains the Asian countries that white people know them as. It's on Buzzfeed's channel and it was like 4 years ago. But I see what you're thinking.
Eugene and the Korean Englishman should do a video together.
@@robertfrank16 i was so looking for this comment, thank you. As a KoreanEnglishman/JOLLY follower, I'm really happy I saw this comment.😂

I've watched a lot of videos on Korean food.... And each time it amazes me more and more! Looks yummy all the time!
We were so close to watching a full episode where ned didn't mention his wife.

Ned is adorable. Stop being jealous

Jack fruit is one of my favorite fruits. I love it as unripen as well as ripen. it has a unique sweet taste and smell. I love it... we have 2 trees in our backyard in India.
The beginning was great “Hey Kids!” “Hey uncle Eugene!”
Reply to this to sign the petition of Eugene becoming the next Mrs Frizzle
Omg can you imagine an animated series with Eugene leading? I would watch that
Keith: It’s so much like a homey egg roll!!
Lily: I love you white people.

As an indian, i love how open they are to different cultures. I know so many people that can’t even stand the smell of indian grocery stores. Not only were they open to all the food, they were excited to try more.
Sai chup re

Yea it was soo good to see people enjoy our food and be excited
I have a very sensitive nose so some smells cause me to have headaches I’m sorry if I come across as rude I just have horrible genetics. And it’s not just Indian food spices in general if they are strong smelling mess with my head
Those days are long gone!
I love how vibha kissed lily on the forehead.

Lilly was nodding at the camera like "Indians you know the ingredients, you know what they are saying when the say tortillas and all"😆😆👍🏻
