The dad is a very friendly man. At the start he said he wanted to see someone from India and make a new friend, which suggests he truly likes seeing different cultures. Nice to see you eat rice and curry with hands (spoon wouldn’t give the right feel when you mix em) . Do visit Kerala again and spread the good word to your friends.
It is nice to hear during the covid pandemic you lived in Kerala ,India almost 2 years and you are safe. Please visit other part of Kerala in your next trip.
Your dad has turned into typical Indian his gestures , his expressions, his body language and his sound between the words He is looking Keralite local ❤️❤️👍
Indians eat rice & curry with hands coz it mix well & that sweet is called "Gulab Jamun" Naans are always thick and try rumali roti that's thin. Namaste From India 🙏🏻❤️

OMG ! You guys are sooo beautiful, just loved the video, the dad inspires me, he is so genuine. Thoroughly enjoyed your video. Respect ! Indian living overseas 🙏🏼💕🙏🏼
shoutout for calculating the prices back to rupees, only Indians can relate and about using hands to eat, gotta love the look in the eyes "is there any other way"

It's so fascinating to hear your story . Like according to your timeline you were stuck during i guess peak covid times . I can't imagine how you all might have felt stuck in a foreign country after all in such times . But in all seriousness I guess it's kind of a blessing in disguise that you got stuck in kerela , aka the southern queen of India . Indian govt really controlled the situation well . Indian cuisines are just so good . There's always something for everyone. The variety and the flavours are mouth watering. Love this video. You have an awesome family ❤️👌😍
Thank you so much! Yes we were in Kerala during covid. It was hard to be locked up in a flat when there is so much beauty to explore in india, but we made the most out of it 🤍 I can’t wait to go back!
I am late to check this but honestly girl loved it! U all r really amazing to watch and the way u were eating with hands was literally a kind of happiness to see cuz it feels so good that u all like it and eat with ur hands giving respect to it ! And love ur father too!♡
I moved from Texas to Kerala in May 2019 ..then came back at the end of 2020...I'm originally from Kerala and was craving for the food from back home so bad and I left ..lol
The Indian concept of eating with hands is like they consider the world is made of five elements fire, water, air, earth, sky and five fingers represent that. So when you hold your food which is the source of energy it means you are holding the power of the five elements in your hands with highest care and respect. So when you eat you are taking the power of mother nature. Such an incredible concept.. ❤️
Your father is an amazing guy. The way he absorbed all the knowledge during his visit here is impressive. Not eating rice with bread is a very important thing. People confuse us with mexican culture where they have tortilas with rice. I wish someday to visit texas and have your smoky bbq I am looking forward for your dad's videos more. ❤️
Really love your family blogs. Mom , dad and the children are adorable. I think you really love India and are genuine .I love you for that. Keep bringing out more videos. I think all of you are fit candidates to be in movies too.
I'm an Indian with heritage from Kerala, but born and raised in the U.S.A. I grew up in the 80s and 90s, where being an Indian was an oddity. Today America, and the Western world "knows" India, the various states and the food far, far, FAR more then when I was growing up and all I had was Apu from The Simpsons. It's a mind blow for me to see Indian food in the frozen food section of grocery stores in Texas, something you would have NEVER seen in 1985 or 1995, hearing my white coworkers tell me how they love making Indian food.....and hearing you guys in this video say "Ayoooo!!!". It's amazing how much has changed.
I think what resonates most is the strong family bonding and values we see in your video. Your father is a rockstar, and mother is very humble.. Great family. All the best for whatever you want to do.
You are trying North Indian food which is totally different from South India but both are delicious all cuisines of different parts of India are different, Unique and awesome with lots of varieties even we Indians haven't taste all
I've been waiting for you to making video..I just wanna see your face again... You make my old memories back when I'll watched you all videos...thx for making this keep happy.... Pls...lot of love from india new delhi

Good to hear you like Indian food. Talking about food In Kerala none of these dishes are of authentic Kerala origin. Due to changes in people movement all these dishes you've mentioned nowadays are pan Indian and appear in menu cards across the country...

Yes eating with your hands let's your brain know that you're ready to eat. also Indian food is very flavorful when you eat with hands.
