I think one thing that makes Mr Rollins so down to earth is that I've grown up knowing people who are like him. Ranch hands to people who were quarrymen. He's so much like the people I grew up around and watching his videos makes me filled with joy.

I was late to the party, but since November I have bought a 12 inch lodge skillet and sanded it down, I bought a number eight field and a 10 1/2 inch stargazer. I bought two 12 inch Dutch oven’s. I’ve bought both of his cookbooks, a trivet, two of his spatulas, I got the cowboy hash knife and sheath. I also got two bags of the coffee, two 3 pound bags of each seasoning. I also got some of his hardwood lump. I’ve done about 10 different of his recipes and every single one has been easy and delicious. Having a lot of fun and better late than never.

Mr. Beagle in the corner was me during this video. I made this last night and used canned diced tomatoes (for a spice intolerant person in the house) and they were GREAT! Reheated leftovers at 400° in the oven for lunch and they were still crunchy and delicious. Yummmmyyy!! Thank you so much!

I am learning to cook after 27 years in the Infantry. I live in South America and sometimes I get things right and my Colombian neighborhood enjoys it! I also take local food and "GringoFy" it. Next project is that I will get Empanada dough and fill it like a calzone. Cheese, softened onions and cut up chorizos in home made tomato sauce. Have a great day everyone and thanks Kent and family!
I love it when you specify taking/leaving out the onion for the god doggos! One, to spread the message they can't have certain things and two, for it just showing how much care and love you have for them! As i think everyone taking on the responsibility of a life, should be anxious/scared enough by the prospect of killing them inadvertently, (by wanting to give them what we eat, thinking that if it's edible/non toxic to us, it must be for them) to do a little research to make sure you ain't literally killing them with kindness.

Most of these recipes aren't light on the calories but that's why they're so darn good. Kent, your dead carp comment cracked me up and instantly brought up memories! When I was a kid fishing with my grandpa at a certain lake in Nevada, it was common practice whenever you caught a carp, you threw it up on the bank. Now, every time I make mac and cheese I will think of the great times with grandpa.
Made this recipe last weekend to go with a brisket I smoked and I gotta tell ya IT WAS AWESOME! The Mac N Cheese recipe is my new favorite because the bacon, onion, and green chilis add soooo much flavor. Then you fry em up into those crispy balls of wonderful and MAN what a hit with the family. Thanks Mr. Rollins!

Hmm..gonna have to take out the onions for this one. I like em well enough but my family has a bad history with them..as my mother used to say whenever we had something with a heavy amount of onions in it "This is gonna taste good going down but I'm gonna regret it later"..so yeah, keep the bacon and cut the onions.
I don’t care for onions in my mac & cheese either, and I like onions! It tends to overpower all the other flavors. Maybe a little garlic powder but not a lot.
@@cecilyerker yeah a little goes a long way with heavy flavors like them, too much garlic or onion can overpower everything else you got going on unless everything has a strong flavor..and if you got meat and wanna taste the actual meat in some way like pork or beef..yeah..too much is a bad thing.

This man has a great inlook and outlook on life itself and it shows in his face.
Hmm..gonna have to take out the onions for this one. I like em well enough but my family has a bad history with them..as my mother used to say whenever we had something with a heavy amount of onions in it "This is gonna taste good going down but I'm gonna regret it later"..so yeah, keep the bacon and cut the onions.
I don’t care for onions in my mac & cheese either, and I like onions! It tends to overpower all the other flavors. Maybe a little garlic powder but not a lot.
@@cecilyerker yeah a little goes a long way with heavy flavors like them, too much garlic or onion can overpower everything else you got going on unless everything has a strong flavor..and if you got meat and wanna taste the actual meat in some way like pork or beef..yeah..too much is a bad thing.
My favorite thing about Cowboy Kent is that you can tell he has a good time when making these videos. Plus his recipes are amazing too!
