The low of my life was a waitress asking if I had AIDS, ugh, was soo sick many years ago. All I can say is become inquisitive, Crohn's isn't a auto-immune or genetic. I wouldn't be 180lbs, healthy, med-free if it was genetic or auto-immune. Question and read, doctors are good for emergencies, but they don't have all the answers. I switched to a Paleo type diet, it was a lifesaver! Grains = pains You are brave!
