ICELAND EXPEDITION MINI SERIES - DAY 5-7 RIVERCROSSINGS AND MORE

EPISODE 5 IS HERE!
Started from Landmannalaugar, we made a quick stop to Reykjavík before heading back into the highlands. The weather waiting for us was strong winds and rain. Luckily we could warm ourselves in a thermal spring in Hveravellir, a place we are really found of. The next day we drove just north of and alongside Hofsjökull. A road we have driven many times before, sometimes had to turn around. With three cars and some information that it was driven a week earlier, we carefully navigated along the track and made it safely over all rivercrossings. Luckily for us, the river were not as bad as we expected. Do not try this on your own thought, in smaller vehicles or without local knowledge.
