Hi Lea, What a beautiful episode. You managed to capture the amazing scenery so well. Iceland is turning out to be even more spectacular than I could have imagined. Thanks for taking us along on this journey. Safe travels and hello to Little A and your partner. ❤
Thank you so much! I like the defender too but tbh I think the style of the old defenders is unbeatable. I don’t get why all cars need to become luxur SUV type vehicles…
I like the older Toyota Land Cruiser's. I used to own a 1983 Land Cruiser and I miss it some times when I am traveling the back roads of Washington State.
I’ve travelled epic roads in Iceland but think you’ve topped them all with the F208 - wow that is hard to beat and I’m loving the results of your prodigious drone skills too!
Dont say that too early - there are two more episodes of the Iceland series to come and I think the roads are getting better and better! Especially in the last episode I will have one of the most beautiful roads I ever have seen for you guys!
Lea Absolutely beautiful scenery! I love the water crossings and those lava fields. The mountains are stunning. Thank you for capturing the beauty of this place! You've earned your Roses Lady as well as gifts for your family. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🏆🏆 🍭🍭🍨 🍺🍺 Ride SAFE and BE safe Lady! 👍👍
There will be super cool warercrossings in the next two episodes, some of them were actually so exciting that my travel partner said I should look instead of film 😂😂😂
Good evening Lea, I saw some parts of this oldest park in a documentary of Iceland. The bread looks delicious. The landscape is gorgeous. Those landscapes remind me of The lord of the rings; the novels I mean where your own fantasy forms the landscapes you read about. I’m a big big Tolkien fan for over fifty years already. The scenery is just wow. Hundreds of photos I would take. Thank you for this beautiful video.
Nice that you write that, I always loved the books too and never got into the movies because I was so disappointed that everything looked different than in my fantasy. And yes that’s how I would imagine it too!!!
Hi Lea, another epic video with some amazing drone footage, I have recently had a Lexus NX 350h, for which I had to wait 18 months for, worth the wait though. Thank you.
That was a beautiful adventure. We are back from our trip to Iceland. We toured the southern part. Stopped at a few places that you had been such as Black Beach. Our weather was mostly cloudy, drizzly, and windy. We did not get to see the Northern Lights, unfortunately. But we enjoyed it very much.
Seems strange watching you without your bike gear on..😊 Lovely scenery and you enjoyed some blue skies too No doubt had you taken the bikes..it would have been raining and windy. 😊 Take care..
Especially because all the normal things that I am wearing get more and more dirty from video to video from all the dusty off-roading. We got never charged for it but in the end even the inside of the car had a thin dust layer 😂😂😂
More absolutely fantastic pictures from Iceland! 😍🤗 When you ask about 4x4s, I am a bit undecided. The ones that are capable off road have suspensions that rattle the fillings out off your teeth and the reasonably comfy ones are usually useless off road. I'd vote for low tech, I guess. Old Toyota Land Cruisers, First Generation of Mitsubishi Pajero, their likes. 🤗
@@Got2Go I think there's a relatively simple answer for that: People pay for the shit. Real off road capability has always only been requested by a tiny fraction of customers. Off roaders look edgy and utilitarian, are technically more complex, heavy and thus thirsty and here in Europe like in most other densely populated regions in the world, off roading is illegal due to the damage it does to the few remaining bits of nature. So hardly anybody really has a use for real off-road ability. That's why the SUVs are rubbish there as well, by the way. The heavy weight and big engine power makes such vehicles ideal for pulling trailers. That's where they shine on the road. In all other aspects, their heavy weight and size makes them unwieldy and awkward. See Fortnine's last video about their safety deficiencies to add to that. Long story short: If many people buy them, even the more complex tech becomes a cash cow. When all the cars you offer are SUV-ish, you get away with basically putting the same components into all of them. Of course a small vehicle's 4WD mechanical parts fail quicker in the big heavy ones, but buyers of big heavy don't pay for reliability, they pay for image. The entirety of customers pay for the security recalls and warranty repairs there after all, so making the lower market segment cars a bit more expensive pays for the rubbish sold at the high end. Then there's market research: Marketing experts try to find out the most common taste and what design would please everybody. That results in a vehicle having to please people who wouldn't understand what an off-roader or actual sports car is to begin with. That's why a Ford Ka and Renault Twingo look so suspiciously similar to a Hyunday Super Countrypatrolmeister nowadays. Zeitgeist. Fat and bulky was announced to be hip by car designers. The vast majority of car buyers are by and large indifferent in what the car looks like, it just has to carry them to work and the shops, so they buy the stuff. People who buy SUVs wouldn't buy off-roaders, but when SUVs are the only thing you'll get, people looking for off-roaders will buy SUVs, even if these crates are rubbish where there's no tarmac. It's a bit like with the music industry: They don't sell songs written by artists anymore, they sell niche designed products aimed at market shares. Casted bands, boy groups or girlie groups, that present market oriented bits of "lyrics", Baby Spice, Posh Spice, This spice, that spice so that every teen finds what his wettest dreams came up with to catch every potential customer's attention and pennies. SUVs are the spice cars. The one size fits all. It doesn't, but as long as the people with all the money do believe it does, they'll pay for it. (Rhetorical cross-language brilliance alert:) Das ist, wo der Wurm drin ist! (German: Da ist der Wurm drin (There is the worm in there.) is an idiom for saying "There's something wrong") That is the connection! The worm, the spice… It was me who found it out. 😳🤯 Could it be? Am I the Kwisatz Hadderach? 🤨🤔😵💫🤢! …🤔²👑💰💰🤑🤗🤩!!1!
Woow 👀 magical and beautiful nature, gigantic shots with a drone, well, the drone gave stable shots of how windy it is 👀👍. This part of the road where you drive with an all-terrain vehicle is also very interesting. Thank you very much for the video and that we could enjoy such beautiful recordings 👍👀👍. Greetings
As we live in Australia and our 4x4 vehicle is Nissan Patrol diesel which we have explored all over Australia with. Love you excellent videos. We want to visit Iceland also after seeing your vidoes

The new Toyota Land Cruiser 2024 or an Ineos Grenadier would be my choice.

I am also not so sure I like that new landy. I don’t know why every car needs to end up looking like a luxury suv. 😕
