did you ever figure this out? I have an 09 LR2 and cannot for the life of me get my driver's side armrest off.

@@loganlemaster1372 I couldn't get it off. I had a replacement leather cover, i pulled the old one off and slid the new cover over. it wasn't easy.
My left came off easy, and the right should come off the same. but they get stuck.
I hit it with hammers, etc. haha Wouldnt' come off.
Since then, i have sold the car, but the new leather cover looked good and was actually a softer leather.

@@DingleBerryMTB yeah, I'm having a helluva time. I know it's supposed to be wiggled out when you set it to a 45deg angle, but it's just not budging. I don't want to get into a situation where I break off the pin, but this ain't workin. I'm going to keep searching for a solution. Thanks for the reply.

We are putting sheepskin covers on our seats. So wanting to remove the arm rests to fit the seat back cover. Do you think arm rests will still be able to go back on and move, with the thickness of the seat cover?
