First Sarah Jessica Parker goes crazy in "Fashion Model", and now Angelina Jolie starts popping off in "Black Bird". The first two stories in this are in the Junji Ito Collection anime, and it's almost night and day. But even as a slideshow with sound, they're still kinda chilling. Looking forward to those "Uzumaki" and "Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre" anime.
I understand you sal, I bought uzamaki read the first chapter closed it and hid it in my closet then gave it to a friend to keep. It just creeped me out. Turned my stomach, both the visuals and the story. It just gets to me
I think my favorite story is the long sleep, because there's so much you can do with that and say more stuff about it. Because for me I've had literal dreams about being in Hell, like the place bad people go when they die and to imagine that that can last over years scares me. But I've also had dreams where I was in Heaven and I don't mind that lasting a thousand years. So I would love a sequel to it and I thoroughly enjoyed this story.
Engagement and interaction with creator to please the mathemagics that choses what gets seen or not. Also I think I might have to pick up an Junji Ito book

All I can say is that these are Life-like and real mind thrilling Ghoulishly fun stories. I am like Sal On not being a normal reader of this Regularly, but I can certainly enjoy Ito's work this time of year. I am Thinking my favorite was second Hand record. So chilling and Marvelously set up.

The black bird one is hunting. I thought he was talking about self sabotage with that. That when the guy hit a rough patch he was happy to get the food but never questioned where it was coming from or what the price was. He was basically taking from his own future self, sacrificing tomorrow so he could barely make it today.
I rarely comment on these things -But tiff did amazing on her make up and hair. I'm guessing a lot of people mind vomitted that into the comments. Eitherway excited to hear about these fucked up horror mangas.
I watched the used record to hear the song and it was haunting and very fitting for a junji ito story. As far as dreams go I have the best ones when the stories I listen to at night get incorporated into them
That dream story reminds me of the story that “Ari Shafir” has, that he told on the Joe Rogan podcast. He smoked some salvia and basically had a dream/trip that lasted like 8-10 months and he said he had a seperate life, kids, wife, the whole nine yards. Thats whats so scary about that story to me. There are actual documented cases where people have experienced something somewhat similar to that type story. I’ve had dreams on many occasions that seem to last muuuuuch longer than i was asleep lol. Shit is weird lol.
