What about Raiders trading Moss to New England for a 4th round pick? Moss set the record for receiving TDs with 23 to go along with nearly 1500 receiving yards in his first year. Led the league twice for receiving TDs and had 1000yd seasons in his 3yrs with the Pats

The oilers were going nowhere with Campbell due to the bad trades made by Phillips. They had zero first round picks from 1979-81, their first pick in 81 wasn't until the third round. They acquired Dave Casper from Oakland for multiple first and second round picks and the Raiders used one of those #2's on Howie Long.
Elway refused to play for Baltimore, and threatened to play baseball instead. 2:16 RIP Ryan Mallett.

This video could be hours long..a big win for both sides was the 1983 draft day trade in which the oilers swapped first round picks with the rams, the rams getting Dickerson and the oilers getting Mike Munchak.
Oilers acquired Curly Culp from KC in exchange for John Matuszack.

The Campbell trade was actually a good thing for Houston because by mid season 1984 he was done anyway and only Phillips in New Orleans was dumb enough to give up a #1 for him. Remember,this is the bonehead that sent a #1 to the Jets for Richard Todd. At least the oilers got seven seasons out of Richard Johnson.

Sorry, saying the Colts made it up with Manning is just plain wrong. Elway screwing the Colts which pushed the move to Indy is not made up by the Indy team signing Manning. Now if the Colts had stayed in Baltimore where they belong, and they signed Payton, then it would have been worth it.
