What ?! No comments yet ? Thanks for another great video. I think I will look for this for a big whiskey fan that I know. I think he will appreciate the interesting flavors that you are describing. :)
Thank you so much for watching!! And yeah, this would be a great gift for a whiskey lover. Novel, interesting, and really gets them thinking about the process of making whiskey!
@@SavidgeKitchen If you have any left, try it with 2 to 3 ice cubes. The water really smoothes it out and allows the sweetness of the whisky to stand out.
I like the Phoenix. It's odd and interesting but not bad. The new Jackalope... not so much. To me it seems like they over blended the hell out of it. $120 mixer for me, unfortunately.
@@waddell7354 Unfortunately I've never tried it. But you may be right. I've had a couple of Scotches that were heavily malted and wasn't a fan of them. I hadn't even made that connection. Thanks
That looks like white dog. Bourbon straight from the still. After white dog is stored in wood barrels it acquires the flavor and amber color of bourbon
@ I thought so. Let me know how the project comes out. Just strained my latest clone of Grand Marnier. I had the first shot. It was only filtered today and it’s rough around the edges still but it takes time for the three flavors to blend and stabilize. Grand Marnier is an orange liqueur of cognac, orange zest and sugar. I’m on social security so I combine cheap brandy, orange zest and sugar.

I actually wanted to try a bottle of this. It looks like it would be good to test and enjoy
I’d love to hear your opinion of it! I was surprised at how strange it was. Definitely need to drink more!
I was actually lucky enough to score a couple bottles of this and it is amazing. My wife, who hates whiskey, even enjoyed it.
That’s awesome! 🥃

@Penguinfilter good to know! Will try :)
Gotta say I've never seen any clear whiskey like this, looks like it would be a good tasting one too :)
Now this seems like an interesting little one!
Cool.

Oh man, that's a bummer. But thanks for the heads up!!
Do you like Balcones? Because it has that distinct balcones flavor from the Malt. That might be what you are tasting

@@SavidgeKitchen It's a preference thing. You may try it and love it.

Technically it is… for the second time! Really interesting project with a unique result.
