New Camera Test @ Macungie PA - NS Eastbound Intermodal

I just recently changed phones to a Samsung Galaxy and the camera zoom blows my mind. This is the first train I've shot with the new phone so I was trying to get a feel on how it all works. It doesn't seem to have the built-in steady feature by default like the later iPhones have, which was a huge lifesaver with camera shake. I almost never used a tripod to steady my iPhone shots. The only thing I do not like so far is how rough the camera zooms in and out, shown here jittering as I zoom out on the approaching train. Here's hoping some new shots and angles in the works now that I have a better camera!

Every year I go o the Macungie car show but can never get track side fast enough to see train go by even though there's quite a few of them on this busy line. One time I did hike to the tracks and waited around over an hour and nothing showed.

I've sat trackside along the Reading Line for maybe 4-6 hours and caught anywhere between 5-8 trains, although it really depends on traffic and the day
