They are a brilliant new Japanese band and I love the way the Bass player moves around.
East of Eden Members :
The singer, Akane Minato, was the lead singer of the idol group Predia from 2011 to their end in 2022. She was in an acoustic side group with two other members of Predia, as well as Kanami and Akane from Band-Maid as well, but that wasn't long-lived really (only a couple of years I think), and was going on after both groups were already active. This is her first chance to actually front a band, and it's the perfect vehicle for her talent. To say this is a supergroup would be an understatement. They're doing their first live show on the 23rd, and I'm pretty sure they're currently working on a full album.

Here for Wakazaemon. She was in the Daisuke Kurosawa X-Japan project with Murata Tamu and the Maximum the Hormone project band plus toured recently in the US in Marty Friedmans band. Excellent bass player. Japan is the capitol of absolute gun musicians.

This is probably going to lead to an EP but it will be hard to make it a long-term thing because most of them already have full-time gigs. But we'll see--they are amazing, for sure. Drummer is not Akane, it's Mizuki, x-Lonesome Blue.
