I first saw Wakazaemon playing bass for Daisuke Kurosawa's X-Japan project with Murata Tamu from Nemophila. Ive been a huge fan ever since. I had hoped she would end up in a great band to show her talents other than just session work. Well here we are. She has found the perfect platform here and I hope they become huge. Cant wait to see more of their work. The lead singer Akane is a brilliant live performer too. Of course she is. Its Japan.LOL. The land of music right now.
Im really enjoying this band. Have you watched the Rock Fujiyama episode with Wakazaemon? Just search for Marty Friedman Wakazaemon interview if you haven’t.
@@realdocloco Absolutely! Evolve was a very strong introduction and I hope it isn't always hanging over them. It's going to be difficult to maintain that level but these ladies are top tier so if anyone can, they can. I'm also SO pleased Yuki is reaching more ears. D_Drive are a fantastic band but are sort of in a niche genre. I've been a fan for years so perhaps EoE will send more people D_Drive's way 🙏
PS - East of Eden has a live talk on 19 Dec at 2300 JPT, or 0800 US CST. I presume it will be in Japanese, but perhaps some English. Many bands go back after the show and add subtitles. ❤️🍏
I've got another new band for you; Mana Diagram is a new metal band made up from two former members of Hagane and three other excellent musicians. They just released their first video about two weeks ago, and the last time I checked, they only had about 600 subscribers to their UA-cam channel. I'm guessing from your reaction to the violinist that you would also like the cover of Eddy Van Halen's "Eruption" done by the violinist from Unlucky Morpheus. Anyway, I hope you are having a great day!
"East Of Eden - World Premiere Special Showcase 2023 - Digest Trailer" They ARE that good live.
Adore these Ladies... Just so so cool...
their first song evolve, the mvp is the guitar and violin, but this song the vocal and the bassist

They have another new video coming out on Dec 19th, and Dec 20th is the release of their first EP, Forbidden Fruit.
In the short time it's been out, this video already has over million views "At This Moment" :P . Surpassing their first video that just over 900K.
I’m really looking forward my Forbidden Fruit CD and Blu-Ray. Loving this band.😊
For me , East of Edan is NEW Jrock band of year 2023 !

I told you Waka was ready to kick you in the face 😉
