Nemophila will always be one of my favorites, I think. Babymetal has some amazing songs that definitely sit in my top....whatever number of songs....to many to put a number on LOL, so seeing Nemo cover Babymetal is pretty great! I absolutely love what Mayu does with the vocals....just perfect and adds to the song so much, in my opinion. This band showcases the masterful composition and they also show how much fun they have together.

It really works because of the skill and chemistry of the band, such a cool cover of a great song. I loved the sheer joy they had from playing together. Also, the drums seemed more prominent and awesome than the original
Really cool cover, they did a great job. Not to mention they set all that merch from Saki's collection. And it's not cheap... don't ask me why I know... 😅
A curiosity about the song itself: it took 36 demos to Takehiro Mamiya best known as Yuyoyuppe (or Yuppemetal), the song's arranger, until Kobametal (their producer) was 100% happy with the final result. It may sound crazy but this is why "Megitsune" is a masterpiece.
did you also notice the lead had Su's single ponytail and the rest of the band had Moa/Yui double ponytails.
As a huge BABYMETAL fan, I discovered Nemophila when they posted this cover back in 2020 and I have been a Nemophila fan ever since!🤘🦊🤘

It would be so cool if Nemophila became the Kami Band and toured around the world with Babymetal. I went to see the show that Nemophila members played just instruments for Demon Kogure (Seikimatsu) and had an entire show. Nemophila can have the first half, and the other half is Babymetal with Nemophila. It was done like that with Demon Kogure, so it can be done. Why the hell not?! 🤘

Agree. One of the biggest reason they are my fav. Love many bands out of Japan but these ladies are my fav and the most diverse. You see it in their originals and every cover they do kicks ass.

Great cover as you say. They always enjoy the cover versions and often can add to the original.
As for 'live' though, well if you choose to believe what we hear is how it was played as we see it here, I am not here to change your mind.
It would be interesting to find out just how much success many Japanese bands have achieved in the west, due to BabyMetal? So many reaction channels I have viewed in the last eight years or so, have reacted to BabyMetal and afterwards have had people suggest other Japanese bands. Before that, it was basically Band Maid and Passcode, I used to see recommended.
I want Mayu to teach Momometal how to scream/growl (or at least give her some tips)! 🤘🦊🤘
I'd rather have Yu from MergingMoon. She does a much better job than most of the other girls out there atm.

This cover is fantastic. One of the few bands to do justice to a Babymetal cover. Mayu did an amazing job and added her unique take. As many pointed out Saki is a Babymetal superfan. Remember though that Mayu chooses which songs they cover so she almost certainly is also a Babymetal fan (and had the confidence to cover Sumetal). Also Tamu wore the pigtails best imo.
Seeing from long-time fans that merch in this cover is likely all SAKI's. 🤘😁🤘
That was f'n great, one of the best covers I've seen of any song! May I say, almost as good as original, but for the dancing and cuteness. They do look like they're having a lot of fun, Mayu's pig squeal 🤘🤘

This had been my favourite Megitsune cover until I found out, only recently, that Asterism did one too, at least 7 years ago! Instrumental and more bass driven - but that shouldn't surprise.

I love this cover song from them but it’s Nemophila 🤷♂️ anyways on a side note like Nemophila and band maid have toured the USA.. LOVEBITES is coming to the USA on September 6 2024 at progpower USA making this their first us show Just thought you might want to know

Great reaction and yes, great cover. Saki is a huge Babymetal fan and all the merch you saw around the studio is from her personal collection. Trust me, it’s not cheap and some of the items are super rare and hard to get. 🤘🦊🔥
