I've seen them live like 3 years ago and it's really insane how the drummer can perform on exactly that level for an hour straight. The guitar riffs and the singing were on point too
This. I've seen sokoninaru live in the Netherlands. Extremely impressive that they can keep up with their recorded songs on stage.
Sokoninaru is incredibly underrated. It's criminal how few subscribers they have on their channel.
Welcome to Sokoninaru! They define mind blowing and I absolutely adore them. There’s a drum battle video for this song with this former support drummer of four years and their current full member drummer. It’s absolutely insane. I personally prefer watching the former drummer Shiyu as there’s something beautiful about his movements, but Saito is a great addition to the band, and all three seem really happy together.
What's hillarious about this is that they now have a different drummer. Sokoninaru is mainly is actually just Juko Suzuki さん (guitar) and Misaki Fujiwara さん(bass) the drummers are supposed to just be support drummers (...yeah, right?) The drummer in this band is Shiyu さん. Their new support drummer, Saito Shoto さん is featured in all their most recent songs. I recomend checking out their song "Saitei" (Lowest) next. It is an amazing piece and with their current drummer. They also tend to have videos with each instrument cam in their channel, so you can see everything the drummers are playing throughout the entire song. Also, very fun reaction. I'll be digging into your catalog to watch more fun stuff!

juko writes the drum parts, so i guess things won't change that much in terms of the drum style.

Yess the drummer is insane. They had a playtrough to this song on each instrument if you want to learn. They other song complicated as well. Check more of them, i recommend "Sokoninaru - Reprogram"
This is, by the way, more or less a session drummer. And their most recent (and now hopefully permanent) drummer sings while doings all this.
Japanese instrumentalists are....yeah.

Glad to see you react to my favorite band. I've referred to them elsewhere as "Polyphia on meth," and I'm glad to see you understand why. This song is one that purposefully revolves around the drums; but if you listen to more of their stuff, you'll find that others do the same for bass, guitar, and one singer or the other. Of course, there's plenty of songs where no instrument/voice is featured as well. To wit, my favorite of theirs is "Complicated System," and it has a lot of back-and-forth throughout it. So, here's hoping to see your thoughts on some of each kind at some point.

Shiyu has a small drum kit and does a lot with it, the rest of them have too many strings on their instruments and don't do much with them...

Japan has the second largest music market in the world. If it sells domestically, it will make a lot of money. That's why the japanese band doesn't actively promote overseas.
In other words, there is no need to rely on money from overseas like Kpop

There is also a live official drum playthrough version by the drummer that I would definitely recommend you check out as well as it really highlights the drummers skill. Sokokinaru are just that good though.

Yup that's Sokoninaru! They are a true sonic, elemental assault that hooks you you can't ever forget them. They don't have a music video for it but they have a song they put out for a Christmas album that is beautiful, haunting and amazing (ua-cam.com/video/bP93q8rz57o/v-deo.html) and my favorite song of theirs is Teinen (ua-cam.com/video/4J8XB6Atxyg/v-deo.html) which is a full on drum showcase and the guitar solo is a mega punch to the gut. Keep up the great work!

Definitely. I hope people don't take that joke as serious because I'm all for people bettering themselves in whatever makes them happy. Personally I'm pretty comfortable where I am as a drummer. I'm not flashy and I have coordination limitations thanks to life being life, but that'll never stop me from playing
@@CatharsisYT Sorry my autism makes it very difficult for me to spot jokes, my issue not yours. Glad you are inspired rather than demotivated by the wonder of Sokoninaru. Maybe the drumming will prove therapeutic and aid your life issues.
That's actually the reason I started playing. It was an anger management tool initially, still is sometimes 😂

you gotta do the drum playthrough of Gou Ni Moyu so you can actually see exactly what he's doing. i'm not sure how some of his fills are physically possible.
