I have aeen some insanely stupid videos of her. I would love to see if the stuff I noticed about her videos are what you noticed as well. I guess I will start watching this video!

Good call! I am often astounded how they claim and complain about no internet connection, no electricity, no water. YET... they had enough electricity (maybe they had rolling blackouts? We do in Cali when necessary. Who knows?!) to charge their phone/battery (including for the backlighting necessary to film!). They had enough power to connect to the internet and get a strong enough connection to upload their video. MOST importantly, they need electricity to receive their water! Which is NOT nearly 100% of all of the water they receive in the first place!! In fact, it is a smaller portion on the whole of what they receive.
They had enough electricity to record, receive and do it again! Day after day!
She is sweet and clearly loyal to her cause. But yes! With her braces and her well manicured, clean down to her fingernails (more proof of access to water!) persona, she is all about her 15 mins of fame. And who can blame her? She is a product of her generation.....

NOW, I must jump in here. As you have gotten a LOT of it wrong!
First, you speak about how history is being taught and how it has been reduced to personal anecdotes.
But THEN... we get an anecdote about McCarthyism, told from, as you complained about, one single perspective! Just one view, right or wrong! Not what it was, nor why it happened, nor who was involved in it! It's a totally chaotic course on McCarthyism! Not helpful at all!
Just my personal critique... Although I very much agree with his view on translations. I speak a few languages and HATE bad subtitles. They can ruin a film and destroy it's "message".)
And living in LA for almost 25 years now, half my life, and with a communications background, I take offense to the comments about Hollywood! My life is not "normal"? My children's lives are not "normal"? (They happen not to be, nor is mine as I grew up in Manhattan, but those are stories for another day, 😅)
And when the guys pop into the conversation (a couple, perhaps? Guys, I presume? I don't want to overstep...🙄), they are Dutch perhaps? Because for all the Hagelslag in the world (NOT the pink and white kind! NEVER the pink and white!!), I would bet against finding anyone, forget TWO people, from Holland! Or anywhere in Scandinavia! I am SO pleased with their perspective and support, don't get me wrong! Just surprised!
And you mentioned a production meeting. And Vanessa Redgrave. Yet made it sound like she was supportive of Israel....I remember that Academy Awards! I was very young and staying by my grandparents. She got on the stage and gave her opinions and yes! She got smacked down! But moreover, my grandfather LOST IT!! And from that moment said we were NO LONGER allowed to watch anything with her in it! We only support those who support US! And then I happened to marry into a family that won't even buy anything German! And we raised our kids that way too! (Again, we live in LA so for my eldest girl's 16th, yes, she did get a Mercedes as her bday gift. A story for another day...! What's not normal about that? Doesn't everyone??😅)
