I just finished watching homeland , Max was a silent hero .
Beautifully made tribute to one of the most underrated characters on the show. Poor Max was always there for Carrie despite all her mania and drama. He loved Carrie & Farah, he was Peter's 'manager' and was a wonderful uncle to Franny. Rest in peace, sweet Max.
This brought me to TEARS. Max was too pure for the world of espionage, yet incredibly brilliant at what he does. I hated his fate but glad he made it far enough into the show to avenge Fara’s death.
Killing off Max and Fara are two shocking scenes in the series. Killing off Peter Quinn is expected as the writer tends to punish those who have killed the innocent people. But Fara and Max have never killed any innocent men. They are the "collateral damage" in the spy world.
Gut punch. I liked Max from the very beginning. Lots of his looks to Carrie said volumes. Unassuming and loyal to a fault. I didn't see his life ending this way. No words that truly leave us viewers shook to the core.
Max was significant in every mission of Carrie.

I loved him ever since he said I believe you. He was so brave. They did him wrong.
Such beautiful, genuine contrast between the glorious, heroic death of Haqqani and the random, humiliating one of Max. Heartbreaking, and also realistic.
Max❤ in our hearts forever and ever. Feels likes yesterday I finished watching Homeland, can’t believe it’s been 4 years!
