Beautiful work, wow! The decals look lovely. Would love some info on decals where to buy them - good quality.
The metal imperfections can be filed down with a metal file, then a fine emery board. This is from the original casting bad trimming. Very nice machine, splendid!

She turned out beautiful. I would love to know where to find those sanding sponges. I'm hoping this will be the year I can get my 27 back in the treadle cabinet and use her finally.

Wow!!! I cannot believe what you can do with these golden oldies. I am an old lady with the same hobby as you have. I buy and rebuild the vintage sewing machines because I love them and want to save their lives. I have never have the guts to paint them, except some of their wooden cases. I want to learn from you. I would not believe you can do such an incredible job with the spray can.
Would you please let me know what kind of stickers do you use and where do you get them?
I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. Where do you live?
I am giving up on the other sewing machine videos and will follow you only from now on. I am 82 years old, but never mind, there is so much to learn. I have just finished the restoration od the Pfaff 360 which is one of the best machines I have worked on but esthetically not pleasing.. I have same machine - 332 which I would like to paint. Would you please look up that model and recommend the colour?
I would like here to be really feminine.
Thank you dear for doing such a lovely job. All the best to you!

Hello! I love your enthusiasm 😁 the decals that I use are water slide decals. They're not really stickers. But you can buy them on Etsy if you don't have a printer to make them yourself. There's lots of beautiful designs. I would recommend using a very light colored paint. Because that will make the decals show up so much better. Enjoy!

Thanks, on this machine I use finish one. It's a Sherwin-Williams clear coat

Hi Marie. Did you mention what top coat you used??? I am having an issue and I will be posting a video. HELP!!! But I think I know what I did wrong. Thanks in advance.

On this machine I used my finish one. But that requires the big spray gun and the air compressor and everything like that that I don't think will fit in your apartment. I still recommend the diamond coat as my backup if I can't use the air compressor gun. It's also really important that the primer has a really good hold on the machine. The only thing that I found that worked with aluminum is self etching primer. If I clear coat over a color that is over a filler primer on aluminum it's just going to wrinkle up and pull off. Unfortunately. So good luck!

Thanks Marie. I have the self etching primer arriving today. I am going to use it for the parts I did strip because I am learning from you and a few others that this is vital to success.
Can't thank you enough for sharing your knowledge. I will keep you posted. Love your channels. I sew many different things when I am not restoring machines. You are very talented. @@prometheansewingmachines
