Cette Ambernic est Full PS2/game cube et elle me fait penser à la Odin 1.....que l'on peut également faire tourner en dual boot avec Valhalla project (windows).

Fun fact: if you play Dodonpachi Daiouzyou on ps2 emulator is laggy and almost unplayable, but if you play the same game (arcade version) on Retroarch is PERFECT

i want ps3 games to be run
Madden 08 plays well with this chipset, NBA live 03 plays well (04-07 struggle) , ESPN football (NFL 2k4) plays great on this system .
For hockey NHL hitz 03, NHL hitz pro , ESPN hockey and NHL 06 work great on this system . I'm a big sports fan , I hope this helps brother.

I got my Anbernic 556 Yesterday in the Mail, the 128Gb SD card didn’t Work Properly so, I ended up downloading 10 of my Favourite PS2 Games. I’m playing Silent Hill 2 & the Graphics are so Awesome! The only annoying thing is the Screen has a Map of the Controls on Screen - Can I get rid of these on screen Controls?.. I’ve only had this thing for 1 Day but, it is soo Awesome. I go Electric Skateboarding for about 7 Hours each Day & I reckon I’ll be playing my Arbernic 556 for at least 7 Hours each & every single Day when I’m not Skateboarding or Working at my Job. I reckon I’ll just get a Terrabyte Sd Card & just have all PSP Games & all PS2 Games on it & play on this Forever!.. You have no idea: ‘How Much I Love This Gaming Console!’.

Thanks! Usually, it comes only with very few ps2 games like God of war games and a few others. Rest you have to put it yourself.
Buy it without the card and purchase a better quality sd card , roms aren't that hard to find

I like the look of the device but unfortunately some of the games look like they are running in a bit of slow motion at times, wonder if you're able to tweak the emulator settings to mitigate that?

I love the screen on RG556 and the horizontal form factor. Performance-wise, it's not a huge jump from the T618 chipset, but for some games, it's pretty noticeable. 👌🏻
I got mine and love it. I just can’t add new ps2 and GameCube because they won’t open and play. What did you do to get these games to run?

I think the number of ps2 games they include is standard, just around 10 to 15 games and only on bigger sd cards. I don't own a Mac, I just have a pc, so I'm not sure.

Just stock os, the emulator aethersx2 I installed myself the version I wanted.

nice, thanks I tried shadow of the colossus but it doesn't work as good as yours, its very laggy with fps around 20, tried both, vulcan and opengl. Vulcan works a bit better but still not playable, even with 0.5 native its very slow, yours like super cool, any chance to share your settings for Shadow of the colossus?

are you sure that's not just the native performance of the game on PS2 hardware? that game, while beautiful, always ran like shit on the actual hardware. massively variable frame rates, normally hanging out somewhere in the 20s like you suggest. just a thought.

I had a steam deck and it was unplayable.. I think the getaway is incompatible with the PS2 emulators .. I could be wrong but the steam deck is more powerful than this and it couldn't run it

It’s mind boggling how Tekken Tag Tournament doesn’t play well since it was one of the few games that were on the CD for the PS2. Is it like a disc speed issue?
Not really sure why, I have tried out different settings to make it work smoothly but still was giving less fps.

I think GOW, yes. RE4, I don't remember. When I made the video, I cleared all the pre installed roms and put my personal collection, so I can't recollect.
RE4 was on the 128GB card that came with mine, but don’t buy this for the preloaded games. ROMS / ISOs are easy to find for every system with a Google search.

DMC3 works perfectly if you use the NetherSX2 patch for AetherSX2...might break other games tho lol but latest version of AetherSX2 breaks a lot of games on this thing.

It doesn't come with many ps2 games, you will have to manually add your roms yourself which is very easy. Yes, you can save game at any point.

X28 has a weaker T618 chip, which will be the same as the rg405m and rg505. This is a slightly more powerful device.

I think with some ajusts you can play have better experience in some games like shadow of colossus
I have tried different settings to make that game playable but it was just not possible. If you ask me, I'd skip it on this handheld.
