The other issue with the Charles Daly 101 Scorpio is the plastic rail. As has been pointed out elsewhere, it is cheap plastic. Not aluminum. Not true Picatinny either.
On my Charles Daly 101, the plastic rail is canted upwards toward the muzzle end. It wasn't designed that way. Somewhere in printing/injecting the plastic for the rail, it became canted up towards the rear. So it sits properly towards the breech, and higher towards the muzzle end of the shotgun. That is a huge problem.
The issue is that if you put a red dot or other optic on this, with the back of the rail sitting taller than the front, you lose a ton of elevation adjustment. I could never get any optics zeroed on that plastic rail, or the shotgun to shoot at what I aimed for, until I finally came up with a work-around solution.
I used Burris Signature Zee rings and a 3-9x40 scope. Yeah, it looked odd. Those Burris Signature Zee rings allow you to use additional "offset" inserts, that allow you to offset the canting of the rail. Basically, you can make the scope sit higher on the ring near the breech, and lower on the ring closer to the muzzle, to zero out what the terrible plastic rail is doing.
It worked. With a lot of effort, I was finally able to make my Charles Daly 101 Scorpio shoot straight with an optic. Was it worth it? Not really. Not when the poor (heavy) trigger makes that fix irrelevant anyways.

For an inexpensive (sub $200) shotgun, there are better options than the Charles Daly 101 Scorpio. Armed Guns of Turkey makes the Backpacker or Shorty. It doesn't have an internal hammer, and the trigger pull is far lighter.
If you ever need replacement parts such as a hammer spring or firing pin, Advanced Tactical out of the USA sells Derya single-shot break action parts that work with the Armed Guns of Turkey break-action single-shot shotguns.
The Armed Backpacker or Armed Shorty also folds down to 14 inches if I am not mistaken. A small, light shot gun, that with the correct choke may be suitable for turkey hunting... And it definitely has a much better trigger pull. Only concern is that it doesn't have a rail. You will need a gunsmith to drill and tap it for a red dot using a Warne Maxima weaver style scope base. Been there, done that. It worked out better than the Charles Daly 101 Scorpio. My opinion.

The Charles Daly 101 has a trigger group assembly that uses the same spring for the trigger pull and the internal hammer. That makes it near impossible to adjust the trigger weight without making the hammer pressure too light for reliable primer ignitions. Don't believe me? Try it yourself.
Take out the two pins holding the trigger group in the shotgun (after removing the ammo). Carefully remove the guide rod and spring. Try using a lighter spring. Or a shorter spring. Put it in again along with the guide rod. Reinsert the two pins into the trigger group. Try test firing your shotgun. Try it with different primers and ammunition.
My experience is that it just won't work. The lighter or the shorter spring that is. Nor will removing any coils from the original factory spring. The reason why is that you will get light internal hammer strikes along with a lighter trigger pull, and your primers will not reliably ignite.
I tried several springs. Lighter. Shorter. Etc. Yeah, I could make the trigger pull lighter, but at the expense of the internal hammer only setting off the primer a fraction of the time. Now I had an unsafe break action shotgun that needed to be carefully opened after 30 seconds of allowing for a possible hang fire situation to dissipate. At the risk of the primer going off in my face everytime the break action was eventually opened...
I put back in the heavy original factory spring. The shotgun once again fired reliably every time, but the trigger pull weight was once again atrocious as well. Over 8lbs easily. I hate to say it, but the internal hammer/single spring trigger group design of the Charles Daly 101 Scorpio makes it so that getting a light trigger pull with this shotgun is not possible. Or at least damn difficult. If you are buying this cheap break action shotgun for accuracy, don't. Every time you pull that heavy trigger, the barrel will have moved. My opinion.

I have heard that you can't use choke tubes any more?
