For the PCC division, do you recommend a 1-6 LPVO over a red dot? I assume you're engaging both near and far targets. Another question, do some shotgun stages require either birdshot or slugs? Or both?
I prefer red dot but those who struggle with long range targets will prefer an LPVO. So it depends on your confidence at long range. For shotgun: some stages may require both slugs and birdshot.
Borrowing a handgun is only possible until the prohibition in C-21 comes into force. Then all the registration certificates will be reissued and everyone will have their licence replaced with authorisation to possess 12(6) (all handguns are now 12(6)) As far as the ten-round AR-15 magazines go, they're actually illegal, but RCMP won't admit their screw up (from 2008). There was a customs case in BC in 2011 where the court ruled that "designed for use with" meant whether the magazine was conducive to be used with an AR-15, not what was in the mind of the designer because that is too subjective. So RCMP used that ruling to ban all 11+ 10/22 mags as they are supposedly now handgun magazines and subject to the 10-round limit. But the same logic would mean that all AR-15 pistol magazines are subject to the 5-round limit, because they are designed in a way that they are conducive to use in a centrefire semi-automatic rifle. So RCMP has been sitting there for several years now trying to think of a way of telling everyone this without massive blowback as happened with the 10/22 magazines. Basically, I think they're just waiting for a court to rule on it again, but because AR-15s are now banned, it's not likely that will happen. I wouldn't be surprised when the new regs are finally decided if handgun magazines become prohibited devices, so you'll have to do another video then. 😂
3-Gun is the best! Most fun you can have with your pants on. Good way to test your guns and yourself. 👍
Wonderful idea. Gonna shoot a match sans pants this weekend for double fun
Do you know any 3 gun club in New brunswick province?
Maybe Restigouche or Mirimachi?

I'd like to know this too. Thanks!

Great information, by the way what choke size should be good for most stages. Cylinder for slugs and modified for everything else?
Foster slugs will go through a choke. Check your shotgun manual but I use mod or IC for everything, including ones that have slugs.
I thought you had a Bren 2 why are you not using that just curious? issues with it?
Guns come and go with me.
@@Huntinggearguy makes sense. hopefully you can hit the big sub numbers soon and can start keeping them all! great video, thank ye
7:20 **Correction** Semi Auto Center Fire [Long Guns]. Shotguns are limited to 5 as well.
this is also a grey area with nuances
Oh yeah, I said rifle when I meant long gun. Good catch.

I think a big deciding factor will be which federal party is in power at the time. The LPC are going to be out in a year or so.
Do you still have gun freeze?
For handguns, yeah.
A zillion magazines. Lol
what is 3 gun? what is hand gun?🥲🥲
