Just play in the right zones, all the high runes are easy to find except Zod, but it is useless.
I hope we get Season 5 in September. They really screwed D2R hard with the D4 timing, but hopefully now things will go back to normal. It wouldn't surprise me if amazing QOL changes like loot filters they are scared of doing because it will drive even more people to D2R while making the population plummet of D4 even worse.

Nice I found 2 bers in like an hour and a half and an ohm earlier off shenk about 2 months ago.
My best was 2 seasons ago, first kill of the day went to eldrich with my barb and horked a jah off his corpse.

Also, what a difference P7 seems to make. In probably about the same time or more, all I've found is 3 sunder charms, for lightning, magical and poison, all terrible -rez, as a cold+fire sorc. Also a bunch of unique/sets I don't need. Best drop was probably Ravenfrost from terrorized Andariel. Great for my pally alt.
Might trade for a fire sunder. Merc can usually hold things still and firewall melts. Also much cheaper than cold.
I've started a Nova sorc - thanks man finding it a lot more fun than my summon necro

Honestly about the loot filter, its to the point where I just play my offline characters with a maphack that has a decent drop alert built in so I don't miss charms, unique or runes anymore. It also shows boss packs and its just been a breath of fresh air using it. Way I see it the game should have those 2 things as simple QoL changes regardless.. and my offline chars have had the same hand farmed map already cleared for years..so its not even about finding the path.
If they're gonna make super large areas become terrorized without upping the boss pack numbers then I'm all for being able to see them on the minimap once you get so close. Also not having to scan the absurd loot that comes with P7 is remarkably refreshing.
Reason i do not do cows on p8 anymore - finished my cow run, saw few yellows on the ground so decided to tp and sell them. When i picked up the last yellow item, a ber popped up lol. Almost missed it
Found my first ever griffons and it was on single player rolled 18 - 11 non eth thank goodness
Doing grail myself. Last couple of days, I found a Jah, Ohm, Surrey, Vex rune. Of course none of the unique grail items I am looking for(and have no use for the runes whatsoever)

It’s in the options for gameplay. The bottom option has a tick box for enabling terror zones offline. You also have to have killed Baal in the current difficulty.
I can't run most terror zones or CS because I can't get bers to drop for an Infinity and the only sunder charm I've ever found (online NL) was poison.
Run the pits like 30-40 times I bet you get some high runes. probably the easiest place in the game to get what you want. Pits doesn't need to be terrorized to get good stuff, but it helps.
What are you playing and what level? You don't need high runes to run terror zones. (Since you're online in terror zones, you're presumably at P1 or with people)
@@arthanor9631 LF javazon at 90. I should have said I can't run terror zones -quickly-. It takes a good 15 minutes to run the pit. Cows is faster and never immune, and I did find an Ist earlier.
Some I can run reasonable fast, but I can't teleport easily (I do have a staff but it's not the same as enigma) which means skipping large masses of immunes doesn't work very well.
@@paragon215 Phil ran terror zones and CS for 15 hours and got two HRs while being able to kill everything. Somehow I doubt a character that has to skip half the mobs in there or bail out halfway through is going to get multiple HRs in any reasonable time in the pits. I've tried and never found a damn thing in there.
@@willythemailboy2 I have Found 3 Jah and 1 Ber this week in pits offline 8 players. FoH Paladin. Im not always that lucky, but recently I started just only running pits. I made enigma and Phoenix and going to save the last Jah. The only rune I have never found is Zod. I have had really long streaks of not finding high runes and then finding like 5 high runes in a 12 hour period.
You would have been screwed out of a Cham and a Sur thanks to no loot filter

I have had 2 ber drop in 20 years. Once in LK, once in chaos sanctuary...on the other hand i have seen like half a dozen jah drop...crazy
I was in the same boat. When they released D2R i played online a bit, then started in single player with the hopes to complete a Holy Grail one day. In an effort to do that I decided to grind tf out of LK and create a self found Enigma. Let me tell ya when that first ever Ber rune dropped it was such a good feeling, even if it did come from popping chests for 20 hours. A few Los, Surs, Ohms and Vexs later and I did finally manage my first ever solo Enigma. It fuckin hurt to cube up all those runes just to make a Jah..but I'm not kidding when I say i was legit trembling with excitement and fear when I went to make the armor lol. That was a couple years ago, I'm about 75% thru the grail and currently back on the grind rn.
@@Tpike777 I only had a mal and 2 shako drop on d2r. The Mal was the highest rune. Best thing was either shako or lightsaber weapon wise. That's since the original day one release.
@@RiotforPeacePlz Wow, not much luck for you. In my SP file I prob got half dozen Mal's and ists. Had an ohm drop in terror zone last weekend. It's def a grind, but if ya put in the hours you should get something eventually
