Criminally underrated album
its kinda funny becuse this is the album the band like the least, but i reaily love it. (the only album they dislike more is Iowa)
It's underrated because it was recorded in a short time and a lot of it felt like a checklist of what makes a slipknot album a slipknot album. It isn't a bad album by any means, there just isn't much there. All the other albums had a conflict that gave it life, this album was just there and didn't really do much to add to what slipknot is about. But that being said I really liked the instrumentals on this album, the first track was so killer and don't even get me started on "wherein lies continue". Dig what you dig but I think that album was underrated for a reason.

Appreciate your dedication in doing this at 11:30PM! I would recommend you show some official videos for songs since the bands made them with the song in mind. You can always pull up lyrics on a separate screen. IMO it would make the channel even more popular.

I believe back when this album was being written, there was some flooding going on here in Iowa. So maybe that played a role in the lyric "the rain will kill us all".

I have a feeling in my bones that the next Slipknot track you guys will react to is either Iowa or Scissors, because those tracks are the best finales of 2 amazing yet dark Slipknot albums. One is about Necrophilia and the other is about Drug use. Both are also a glimpse as to how far Corey pushes himself to give the songs a genuine energy to them. I think you'll like them or in Sori's case be in absolute shock. I am no psychic or seer of the future, but I hope that the next time you visit Slipknot, one of these two songs will be the ones you react to.
I looked through and haven't seen any Unleash the Archers. I suggest Tonight we Ride. It's got a singer with the voice of a goddess (her voice is unbelievable), heavy riffs, screams (high and low) pretty much everything.

In De Naam Van De Duivel by Carach Angren. They're a symphonic black metal band that writes their albums as horror stories. Every album is a consent album but this one works as a stand alone song. Think you guys will love em.
In De Naam Van De Duivel is dutch for In the name of the devil. The song is in english except the one line and don't worry it's not satanic enough for the blackfire. Think you guys'll enjoy the story. Also Carach Angren is elvish for Iron Jaws and is names after a pair of towers in Mordor.
And Babel's Gate by Septic Flesh. Symphonic Death metal and you'd get a kick out of the lyrics.
Also you guys need to do the whole of Damnation And A Day by Cradle Of Filth. Best Cradle album in my opinion and the album tells the story of Satan before his fall all the way to his defeat. Seeing how you guys dissect this stuff is amazing.
