Looking great, cool ideas.. I like how y'all include the kids. I think at that age all I got to do was hold the flashlight and that didn't always go to well.

I love all the help from the kids! I was admiring the paint color on the pantry when you finished the range hood, looks great! Merry Christmas. Thanks for the update.

for the shower walls? if so, I do not recommend our strategy. While it seems to be holding up OK, it was not the proper technique.

Hi, hats off to you to tackle such a huge project by yourselves. Do you mind me asking why are you using NHL5 for everything? Was it recommended to you by someone or...

thanks. for this particular project it was because we had an abundance of it laying around. I don't have any recommendations nor do I suggest you follow our way of doing polished plaster 🤦‍♀️

@@buildingroots5873 Thanks, it's perfect for bathroom, as it used for watertight or a potential water damage situations or dealing with high exposure to elements (like chimneys). I know it's too late, but in future I'd recommend to use NHL 3.5 for rendering or Stucco as it allows your walls to breathe, will deal with flexibility of your building better(less cracks), while providing sufficient protection from the elements. If you have a surplus of NHL5 and using it for that reason, then I'd suggest to 'dilute' NHL5 by 1/3 with hydrated lime. When it comes to natural homes, the strength is in flexibility. I hope it didn't come across snobby or patronising, just sharing a bit of info and try to share some experience and, as always, recommend to do your own research and testing. My best regards
