Every time I see this Baumalight mulcher I feel I need one haha. Looks like you two had a blast, good to see you out and having fun with some friends. I do think a hydraulic top link would be really useful for this style of rear implement.
We had a blast even in the heat!
Well, great...now I have to buy an even bigger tractor so I can run a forestry mulcher!
Yes, agree, you need a much bigger tractor. Let me help you spend your money!
Lol
Step it up and get a Kubota MX.
Mini skid is far superior with the same type of attachment except on the front of machine so your not constantly looking backwards all the time and probably a cheaper set up
Seems like a hydraulic top link would help here too. And while you're in for the top, why not get a tilt too? My biggest problem is deciding where to put the controls.
The Kubota L-series doesn't come with rear remotes standard. I'd need to add them at a cost of $1000+ and I'd rather just buy a new tractor!! Thanks for watching.
@@PineyGroveHomestead I just figured if I was spending $10k on a mulcher, personally I'd swing the extra $1-$1.5k for hydraulics. I've got an L series as well... like I said, hard to find where to put the controls, but I'm basically sold on the T&T kit (not from LP - some aftermarkets do it better). 5elevendesignz has a control assembly that mounts to the loader controls, but my 3rd function is in the way.
Maybe I should just get a bigger tractor :)
Maybe keep the crate in case you ever need to transport a small pig?
That brush cutter is making me want one badly. On my 50 HP tractor it would be so good.
My only fear is running out of brush to attack!! But that will be awhile!
Man, I am loving that you are both working together in these videos. Love the content, and if course enjoying Brad and his teaching strategies!
Always a good day on Piney Grove when I can peel Lucas away from the beach and fishing! Thanks for watching!

Agree a full sized skid steer is a much more capable machine for forestry mulching, but they are $100K with high flow capability. Tractors are much more functional on a farm and you can do lots more with them at a much lower cost point. This entire rig as shown in the video is $40K brand new and in minutes I can take off the mulcher and put on a plow or tiller and work the land.
Wish I had the cash for a piece of equipment like that. Nice job guys.
Thanks! It's an incredible piece of machinery. I can see someone with a compact tractor making a lot of money doing light land clearing with this!
I bought 43 acres of overgrown land and I am enjoying "the great outdoors" as I convert it into pasture. My wife wants to make a profit as soon as possible, but I am focused on enjoying it.
The ox is slow, but the land is patient!!
Wish I could afford one of those.
It's not cheap but should last a lifetime. Thanks for watching.
I enjoyed watching you two having fun with the forestry mulcher.
Having never used one, I was wondering if shortening the upper three point so that the rear of the mulcher is raised up a little higher, will that keep the branches from shooting under the tractor?
Thanks for the videos. BTW I have a Summit and love it. I enjoy watching you use yours with all those attachments.
I still need to experiment with attack angles. I've been running it pretty low to the ground so I need to rotate the teeth soon. Great machine!
That mulcher/stump grinder does a heck of a job. The first time when you demonstrated that mulcher (prior video), it looked as though you backed into a hole and I was concerned for a safety aspect.
Our land in between the pine rows is very uneven. The L series Kubota is very wide and stable....it didn't feel bad at all on the tractor. But, I do need more PTO hp!
You guys work together well. That machine is amazing!
Thank you. Lucas is a good ol' boy! And that mulcher is a BEAST!
Frist comment
Awesome video! Great Multcher... that thing is awesome!
It really is an incredible machine! Thanks for watching.
