The model that seems to fit my Kioti RX7320 is the Baumalight MP560. It would take 63 machine hours at the $275 per hour rate that forestry mulching guys charge in northern TN to pay for an MP560. Certainly come in handy clearing up our 90 acres of hardwood forest. Tim
What HP is your RX I just got a small CS. What is the HP needed to operate one of these?
Here we get quoted by the day, typically $2000 to hire someone out. These don't pay for themselves with a couple of jobs, it definitely needs to be used a few times a year to justify it. But there's the convenience side of things too, having it ready to go when you are.
You can't beat Baumalights build quality
Your not joking, this thing is very well built.
I love getting to live vicariously through you with all of the cool toys
I do the same with other channels. That's the beauty of UA-cam.
WOW! That attachment is an absolute BEAST!
It sure is, I wasn't expecting that!
Awesome machine and video Andrew. Made my day!
Glad you enjoyed it! I've watched the video about 4 times myself. I love seeing what this can do.
I'm lovin' it; like a hot knife through butter!!! I can't wait to see this used some more!!!
Plenty of clearing coming soon. We grow weeds and trees like crazy in. Florida.
Wow. Looks awesome.
It's amazing what it will do!
Great video, as usual. Makes me itch to move back on the farm!
You should!
That’s pretty satisfying!!!
Nice piece of equipment!👍🏼
It really is satisfying to watch.
Oh man, I am so impressed with that mulcher! That is exactly how I hoped it would perform. Can you imagine how much easier clearing that pasture would have been if you would have had one of these 15 years ago when you started cleaning out your property??? Wow, I’m just blown away! Probably one of my favorite pieces of tractor equipment (next to the grapple) that you have shown on the channel. Can’t wait to see what else you get in to and the before/after results from using it!
Now that you mention it, this would have been a God send back when we cleared almost 20 acres. It would have made life so much easier. I knew you would appreciate this video.
Warning: For Yaupon Holley in Texas the way the drum rotates stuff up under your tractor it is a fantastic destruction device for your iron. The plus: I used my MP360 for about 2 years and it did a great job teaching me how to work on my tractor.
That bugger has a helluva appetite - goodness! You're gonna have fun with that👍
Those things are monsters. Perfect attachment for your property. Nice review!
Yes they are! I can't believe what it's capable of.
Looks like a cool piece of equipment, that will be very handy.
Yes it will be!
Andrew, I feel you’ve stumbled on something here! Having been raised on a farm and done my share of bush hogging, land clearing, etc., I have never heard of this piece of machinery! That thing is no joke! I have but one word… WOW! Great addition to the TKCL homestead!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching. I agree this is in a class all it's own.
This kind of think is so satisfing. Like cleanjng something really dirty! Enjoyed this video!
Exactly! I love seeing a mess go to something pleasing to the eye.
That will really come in handy for you 😊
Yes it will
Sweet piece of equipment for sure. Definitely going to come in handy on your property.
Definitely!
Really nice piece of equipment
It sure is, I love it.
That will quickly become your favorite implement. Our Baumalight MP560 is built like an anvil. Nothing in the industry is built like it. Great video!
I agree, no other attachment puts a smile on my face like this one. By the way, congratulations on the TYM deal.
@@TKCL Thanks Buddy. God is good. Been watching you for years and super happy for your growth and success. I actually have an old propane tank and been thinking how I can get it to you for us to make a fire pit together! Lol. Take care brother. 👊
Awesome video!
Thanks for the visit Tony
That's a beast!
It sure is!
As always a great video keep up the great work . God bless
Thank you for watching! God bless!
Good day to all. Nice and soon more tries protection, I'm in.
Good afternoon!
YEOWZERS! powerful and really nifty, but you need to either have a spinny seat or switch sides you are turning on or you'll end up with a miserable back - unreal how smooth it was under some fairly good sized saplings!
It's an absolute beast!
Hi Andrew, That's a nice attachment for your setup, well built and as long as you can handle running backwards, for the price it's worth it. You only have to cut it down backwards 1 time, after everything is gone you can drive through for future cleanup if needed.
That's right! It's amazing what this can do!
Wow what a beast
It's amazing!
Hi Andrew, that is quite the machine and you can see it’s heavy duty. It just eats the trees and brush like going through butter. Good review!! 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
It's an amazing piece of equipment.
I've seen a forestry mulcher in action on another channel. It is amazing. I look forward to additional clearing!
More coming soon! Thanks for watching
The mulcher is the coolest!
It's going to be one of my most favorite attachments.
Another fine video, they make a great product. The two things that I'm weary of the possibility of taller trees falling into the cab and the punchers that are going to happen to the tires.
They do make an awesome product. As for the tree falling, the tree pusher takes care of that. And for the tire puncture, notice I cut back a few feet and then always go forward? That technique keeps the stumps shredded before I run over them. I then cut back a little farther and then run forward again. Out of countless trees I cut this day, not a single stump left was anything I felt would pop a tire. I am more worried about getting into metal or trash.
Nice! 👍👍👍👍👍
hurricane Andrew coming thru knocking down trees. 😆
Lol I suppose so.
Wow! Talk about job satisfaction. That thing eats everything in its path! It has to feel good, gaining ground! Thanks for sharing, Andrew.
You got that right, instant gratification when you see a mess vanish. Thank you for watching, hope you are doing well.
@TKCL I bet! I'm doing good here, trying to stay cool with all the heat! I hope you and Tiffany are as well! Good time of year for a frozen drink by the pool! Lol!
@@dougdavis4439 you got that right! It's miserable hot here.
@TKCL Hope the blender is hanging in there. After getting it I had trouble with mine and thought oh no! Anyway, get some rest and stay out of the sun when you can. Take care!
Good evening. Ya'll talking about the seat, look and see if you can get a pinable base too allow for the seat too clock x amount of degrees w/o knocking your right knee.
Basically a smaller version of a row crop tractor seat, their able to clock too the right.
Won't work for all but it may helpout some.
Definitely won't work for me with the air ride seat. I have seen what you talk about, it would be great to have.
Daniel Arms has an attachment that eats trees! That thing is wicked! You’ll be out there chopping down all kinds of things.
I've seen his, those are very nice!
That sure makes the work a lot easier! I’ve had to clear like that by hand and it was a lot of work…
You got that right, it's miserable clearing thick brush like that by hand.
I'd have to get me a skid-steer with my neck & shoulder problems. and I've seen this as a skid-steer attachment. But this is so impressive!
It's extremely impressive. The skid steer model is even more impressive.
Clearly a great attachment... 🙂
It sure is!
What a game changer
It's awesome!
Daniel Arms would love this Brush Mulcher.
For all those cedars 😁
WOW ...what a piece of equipment t
It's amazing!
Got yourself a magic eraser right there. That's impressive.
Lol I love that! 🤣
great piece of equipment you could use that for sure !!!!!!
It's amazing what it can do!
@@TKCL Andrew that will pay for itself very fast with all the use you will get out of it for sure
@@larryatkins4512 I've got big plans for it.
Very nice. Never seen a PTO mulcher in action. I know CMC Cancela makes one but I've only seen their skidsteer mulchers, which are in sane. In power and cost. The PTO variation looks way more affordable. I wish I had one of these things when I was clearing by hand!
It's an amazing attachment that not many people seem to know about. It takes a tractor to a whole new level.
Dang Bro, I’m impressed with that one, seems to work much better than the skid steer ones
Skid steer ones are awesome and more powerful. But this is amazing for a tractor.
A front mounted version. would be nice. That's going to come in handy.
That's where a skid steer comes into play.
Andrew please think about building a screen for the backglass
If I see any issues I will, all that was tossed during this time was sand and a few leaves.
Barmalight is hitting up all youtubers.. Good video!!
It's great advertising for them.
@@TKCL is that sold through dealerships or is it Direct Buy from the manufacturer
I believe it's both, let me verify that for you. There are several dealers around me. But they also give pricing on their website and offer free shipping on a lot of products.
Wow!
Some smart engineers need to design a front pto shaft on tractors and the possibilities would be endless
John deere has offered that on some models for snow blowers.
Man I could use one of those! My tractor and brush hog don't do quite that level of removal!
Huge difference between the two.
@@TKCL absolutely. I've been trying to clear out similar brush with a rotary cutter and it's been... Not great. Lol
Not sure about Florida.
But here in California its $25-$30 per tire to get rid of them.
Easier to dig a hole and bury them or figure out a way to use as decorations
Agreed
Cow shade is very important, sometimes you see a lone tree out the middle of a field with cows and that's their shade
Exactly, we are about to provide plenty for them.
Love the attachment, but it is really expensive.
It's also really well built and powerful. It's one of those things in life you get what you pay for, there's nothing else quite like it for a tractor. With that said, it's definitely not for everyone. You need a decent amount of clearing to justify one. Thanks for watching.
Andrew, you can use that mulcher to get rid of that pile without using a dump trailer. Just start at the top of the pile and work your way down one layer at a time.
Just depends on how rotten it is, I need to test that out.
Hello great videos. love watching your videos. Have you thought about making it run from the front. To make it better.
Thank you for watching. That's not possible due to the pto shaft and 3 point lifting system in the rear. They make this for a skid steer to mow forward.
Crazy seeing something like this tool mulching big trees like they're tiny twigs! I'd hate to be on the wrong end of this thing lol
It does an amazing job!
Green teeth? If so, 3 turns per tooth. Awesome piece of equipment right there Bud!! 💪💪
Not sure of the teeth to be honest, I didn't see a name on the website.
Yowsa! That made short work of a huge job. Now, can you chase the armadillos with that?
Lol I wish!
Would a back up camera help with having to stay turned around? I could use one of those for a couple hours.
I have one, but I much prefer looking directly at my work. The camera doesn't zoom in enough to see all the details.
Wondering about sagebrush. I mean BIG brush. Does it have a guard for rocks. Thank you
I am not familiar with sagebrush, but I was cutting oaks in this episode and they are not forgiving. The only guards are chain guards.
Reclaiming your acreage from mother nature is fulfilling, because she always wants to reclaim her land. You must have a healthy respect for her and I know you do 🙏♥️
I can't believe how much property we've lost in just a few short years.
Would it do good agaisnt old large stumps? I have so many hidden in my brush here
This is not intended for stump grinding, however if you accidentally hit a stump, that's where the slip clutch comes into play to protect the equipment and tractor.
Wow, Andrew! This reminds me of Daniel Arms’ tree eating machine. I think you have found you a new favorite piece of equipment!!! I could watch you all day long. Promise me you will be careful and keep a watch for snakes.
I'll definitely be careful, this attachment is awesome!
It looks light in construction too, doubt it would last longer than 200hrs before it starts cracking up
Sure.... You obviously not seen the typical tractor equipment that gets a thousand or more hours of use and is built much thinner than this.
Andrew does the rear camera seem to come into play operating the mulcher? Wasn’t sure if the display was large enough to be beneficial.
I don't use it because it's not easy enough to monitor mulcher height and the size tree I am backing into.
Def cool piece of equipment but for how often you use it, would it be more economical to rent a legit forestry mulcher for a day?
Maybe and maybe not. It's so nice to have this when you need to go do a quick mulching job. It's a hassle renting, you work on someone else's schedule.
Cattle wire and fencing are that things arch nemesis 😅
Yep, I always keep a pair of fence wire cutters in the tractor.
Need a backup cam!
Got one, it's better to see it in person.
Wow, what a toy!!! Have fun, kiddo:)))
LOL toy..... I did have fun!
if your going to help out other people, you might get in contact with Daniel Arms for the info on his Iron Craft Tree Reaper. Hopefully a company or rental business could sponsor you?. Going backwards like that all the time would kill my neck
This isn't an attachment to run all day long. It's one to do some heavy clearing occasionally.
@@TKCL yea, i got that, i was just speaking as to your wanting spend some to help others
Crazy part is it's on a 540 pto not 1000 like most brushhogs.
And I wasn't running it that high in this video either. I was in the 400s.
Pockets and teeth can be replaced. They look like GreenTeeth, wich are awesome.
Looks very easy to do as well.
What horsepower tractor are you using?
66hp and 52 pto HP.
I can only assume your not managing for wildlife as hedgerows are great habitat, also its fawning season, hope you don't have deer in that area or at least you checked for fawns prior to using that implement.
We have a crazy amount of tree lines for our animals. This tree line is being cleared for more animals, cows. I plant food plots every year and stage brush all around the property for wildlife. I leave natural briars, berries and more.
Or you could put up the fences, turn the cattle loose, and in 6 months or so then you clean up what they left standing.
My trees trying to take over my pasture are black locust. Those thorns mean the animals avoid them, and so do I. They'll go right thru the turf tires on my tractor.
No way to get back there and put the fence up. I need the clearing done first and I want to get the surprise junk out of there as well.
Hey I've got a buddy that's got a tea at TYM 100HP I'm not sure what size brush cutter or what brand I tried calling and asking him which one before I sent this he said the best thing he did was he loaded it up took it and had good heavy duty camera systems put in it he says it sounds a bit extreme but everything from running a is Batwing is mulcher he said 3 days after he got the cameras on it he was running a hey machine and because he had the camera he could see the smoke saved him from burning his hole hey machine to the ground most likely the tractor never seems to be an end of what we can do to are tools to make them better and not to mention more fun he said where he's at in Hobe Sound they have a diesel Co-op he says every time he goes down there his wife calls it the car show he goes out washes the tractor up cuz everybody wants to come see the cameras and the lights he's put on it I just figured with your following you might be able to get a camera company that would want to work with you Best of Both Worlds something to make your life easy in a way to do it more affordably
I also have a camera system myself. Checkout Baumalights website, link in the description. They make much more powerful models for a tractor bigger than mine.
What HP of tractor do you need to use this?
This particular model has a range of 30-50hp. They have a model smaller than this one and a few larger than this one. Check out Baumalights website for the models and HP ratings. I put a link in the video description.
Be careful running over the stobs until you cut down low. tires and fluid gets expensive.
That's why you see me cutting back a few feet and then running forward to mulch the stump. I then go back in for more cutting.
👀👀
In your thumbnail it looks like a monster with a big mouth and two little red eyes! I guess it's a brush monster!
Lol I see it!
That thing is a tree ERASER!!
Just make sure you don't get too close to the old fence or you will spend a month cutting the wire out of the teeth 2 inches at a time.
I'd break out the winch box and grapple to drag those tires and fence wire out and put it straight into a roll off dumpster.
I've definitely got to figure out what to do with the mess.
Too bad that doesn't fit on the front of the tractor so you wouldn't have to be twisted and turned in your seat.
That's what a skid steer is for 😉.
Those vines are a complete misery!
I hate them!
That’s scary !! Lol.
In a good way 😉
Just be careful and don't stay on that too long or you will be paying for it with a crick in your neck and a twisted back....can't afford to have either one with all the projects you have going.
I'm not as young as I use to be 🤣
Andrew, I see one problem. Your bride is going to watch this. She will say "that looks like fun". You, Sir, now have lost your big tractor as well the little one.
LOL maybe so
Sand and dirt are thr worst thing for wearing the teeth down on a mulcher.
It's bound to happen
Your neck must be killing you.
Not at all, that job went so quick.
