Congrats I have a suggestion when the plumber stubs the groundwork out have them put a clean out up so the hvac people will not set the outdoor unit on top or to close to avoid what you had with your folks home
We are happy to report no damages to Piney Grove from the hurricane. Our heart is heavy for those about 50 miles to the east of us that really have it bad right now. Thanks for asking.
Building your forever home can be either your best life experience or your worst. Take your time and enjoy the experience. Recognize that there will be things that pop up throughout the build so just roll with them. One thing you will regret is the porch only being 8' deep. Ask me how I know.
Once it is built, you will never regret the attached garage. You already have a shop so size isn't quite as big of a deal but you can never build a garage big enough.
