When buying my property in Spain, I also choose a lawyer and had have a power of attorney signed. The lawyer choose the bank and did set-up the bank account for me. However I was surprised when I transferred my money for the property to my bank account in Spain and the last payment to the developer was made, the bank charged a fee (of about 1000,- Euro). When I asked the lawyer about where this was for, he said that I have to ask the bank about it. I asked the bank about it and asked for a receipt of this charge, a couple af times. I never got an answer. Are you familiar with banks charging a fee when the last payment to the developer has been made?
Hi Erik - thanks for your comment. I have no idea why you were charged this amount. I do know that the transfer costs and commissions of Spanish banks can be quite high, especially for transfers from overseas, but I have no idea in this case, I´m afraid. Best regards, Sean
Interesting guys thank you ❤
Glad you enjoyed it
