Your videos continue to give me an appreciation for movies that I've either seen and not fully enjoyed or just overlooked completely because I thought they looked silly. Thanks for helping me to enjoy these films more Niyat!
The only thing Final destination 4 ever contributed that helped make any of this logical was the idea of "what if his design was us to see the design to put us here" Like, what if he intended for everything to be avoided to then be reencountered
The thing that makes the kills scarier is the fact that you never know when the chaos is going to start, not the chaos itself, like the death of the gymnastic girl in the fifth one, she was dancing around a loose nail and the fact that she always was so close to stepping in it was super terrifying
There was something about the mortician. I feel that he was there to personify the entity itself. A representation of death interacting personally with its victims and toying with the characters.
As a person who grew up watching this movie, now I believe in anxiety. I don't usually fear horror movies that are about ghosts and stuff but this gory one is just a literal phobia of mine.
I watch all the movies and it gave me a bad dreams for almost a month in my childhood. For fcksake I even remember the time that I am having a hard time sleeping and having a paranoia.
One thing to note is that Todd's death is the only one that is explicitly shown as supernatural. The others in the series can be written as accidents. Creative but not impossible accidents.
This series was at least as scary as Alien or The Thing for me. The sheer anticipation throughout the entire film just makes it so that you're always on edge (the bus death was so classic). They really should do more with this franchise.
@Anthony Lopez ehhh not really. I mean kidna true but a lot is forced now and it feels like we are force fed apples & carrots instead of us liking it cause we chose to wanna eat them ya know ??
Moral of the story: Death is part of a cycle, it is the REAL purpose of Life, don't mess with the natural place of things. As beings with feelings we don't like the feeling of loss, but we can't do anything about it, Life is Death and you just have to embrace it, it sucks, but, we can't do shit.
The turn around song makes it creepy. As it hints that there is something that's gonna happen. Like in the drive thru it played the song and then Wendy looked back and the truck they almost hit earlier is falling over a hill and they escape and frankue gets squished
"Final destination" a series of movies where the people think that they can cheat death even tho they're "mortal" Im glad that logic is dead even in that universe 😕👌
im glad that i stumbled onto your movie reviews. they are well done, put togetherquite well and gives us the watcher a goodglimpse into th movie. thaznk you for your work
The two first movies traumatized me and I know plenty others. I've heard it referenced by coworkers and friends when we talk about irrational fears such as getting into an elevator, or driving behind a Truck hauling big objects.
Love the creativity of these movies and how people die. I like to think of this movie as the absolute worst case scenario on what would have to happen to cause a death without any external force behind it. And these are technically classified as accidents.
yes, that's exactly how I see it. Like there's a lot of real life people who die in ridiculous chains of accidents. the weird thing is that it happens to a group of survivors of a previous accident
When I watched this when I was small, I was so scared of everything and kept thinking I could die at any moment, and the scene I remember most is when the girls legs get crushed by the escalator and I have been so scared to go on an escalator since that scene
I think part of the inspiration for this movie came from the twilight zone episode "twenty two" where a professional dancer in a hospital has a series of recurring dreams about her going down to room twenty two, the hospital morgue; and a tall nurse opening the door and saying "room for one more honey." Anyways the story ends with the woman taking a flight home; the number of which is twenty two. When she reluctantly approaches the gate, the same woman from her dreams now wearing a flight attendant's uniform pops out and says, "Room for one more honey." And the dancer runs back to the waiting room screaming as the staff tries to calm her down; but as the number twenty two plane takes off, it explodes in midair much to the shock and horror of both the dancer and the staff. So there's my theory, hope you enjoyed it.
I don't know why but is the black detective death because in the fifth movie he says"cause one by one death comes for them all" the reason why is that the fifth movie takes place before the plane exploded so how does he knows how does the game work and to support my question he is just about in every scene after every death does anyone agree
I always wondered what would happen if the people who survived the last Final Destination movie decided to get off the plane from the first Final Destination movie. Hmm..
My favourite horror franchise (well, one of my favourites). I think all films were great except the 4th one. Thank you so much for making a video on this!!
a friend and i fell asleep while watching the final destination and she apparently had a dream which she thought was a premonition of her and said people dying, she woke up with a bloody nose and was terrified.
I remember reading a story once where the the main is told he will only die when he welcomes Death like an old friend. At first everything seems fine and the years pass, then when he finds himself burying his great-grandchild he looks back at everything and everyone he has lost during the course of his long life. The child he had just buried was the last of his line and he breaks down in tears. I don't remember the name of the story or the author as it was just one of several short stories gathered in one book. Anyway great video and best of luck to you.
you should take a look at the virus that invades earth in the manga I Am Hero. it has a weird style to it and a strange lovecraftian twist that i’ve never really seen in other apocalyptic stories
Because of this movie, I having quite bad anxiety on my first ever flight on school trip when I was in high school, my head keep thinking about this movie and I can't breathe when the plane is take off.
Every time I watch this film I remembered the phrase “Death is so sure of it’s victory that it gives us a lifetime of advantage” I don’t remember who said it to me but my spine shivers thinking about it.
Hahaha very true, I just read someone's comment and I definitely agree, these movies did make me fear everything. But then again, anything can kill you at any given time so.... I guess in that sense these movies are true. I love these movies though, always did. I saw the first one and was instantly hooked. But I can see why so many people liked that comment, because it's true that these movies make you fear everything and make you feel you always have to watch your back.
Despite how corny 4 or 5 is, I still love this series nonetheless and my favorite horror franchise of all time even though Im not into horror that much. Lol
I remember being 4 at the time and walk into a room where my parents, grandparents, uncle and aunt, watching final destination 1, and the race car scene buried into my mind forever
Someone or something must be trolling Death. They keep giving these poor souls premonitions to cheat death so now Death has to make elaborate traps for the survivors.
Honestly the highlight of this for me was that Niyat got it right in saying that filming the plane scene took place on Long Island instead of in Long Island. That almost never happens
Yeeeah, Vancouver island! The second film's introduction was filmed on our main highway up and down the island. Gives me chills every now and again driving on it :P
Am I the only one who ever thought that the premonitions were deliberately given to them by Death, so he could flex his creative killing muscles or he was just bored
but these abilities, how does it just pop up does death give it to them for experiments or just when he is around it has a chance to give a death ability i mean if i was death im pretty sure seeing people death in the future would be one of my powers
Solid plot description but there's very little mention of the clues. There were clues as the plane took off, and more for future victims just after it exploded. Tod pantomimed his death in the premonition. When the girlfriend got hit by a bus, her blood splatter made a number on a future victim's cheek, which would be the order of his death. There was a sale for knives on TV and there's a knife on the teacher's door. The clues are really what drew me into the movie.
Really awesome film series. Also if you're interested there is an anime called "Another" that is very similar to Final Destination with an invisible entity killing students. Except I think that the entity killing the people is a curse, not Death itself. Regardless, worth giving it a watch on Crunchyroll.
I personally have 3 theories. 1: There is some force that is trying to have some handful of people live and not be victims of Death's game. This force's identity is currently unknown but it could either be an angel or God. 2: Death might have one day gotten bored and decided to give some people visions of what's to come and decided to have fun with it. 3: There are some special people that can see visions of the future and therefore try to escape Death's game.
Here's the thing in one of the final destination novels deaths straight up says where the premonitions come from it turns out that a long time ago a God gave a woman that it loved the ability to see into the future but she cursed the god and it made him angry so he turned to the special gift into a curse where she would then see how others would die but nobody would believe her since then this curse has been passed down from individual to individual so it's not necessarily a force that's trying to protect these people it's a series of luck and them having access to this curse.
Life wanted to take back their present to give them something better, but Death wanted them just how he wanted them. And so they both just go into a lengthy argument.
My favourite part of watching these movies is looking for the foreshadowing. Every time I Watch them, I see something new. It keeps things fresh in my mind, anyway.
First two films were my favorite since the deaths actually seemed possible. Then they just got stupid and ridiculous, but great video! happy to see that it's the first movie getting talked about.
Yess. Ive been binging your videos and half of the comments aaid do final destination. And im so thrilled!

The directors of this movie will never know the hundreds of phobia they caused people to develop...
The thing that makes the kills scarier is the fact that you never know when the chaos is going to start, not the chaos itself, like the death of the gymnastic girl in the fifth one, she was dancing around a loose nail and the fact that she always was so close to stepping in it was super terrifying

Precisely i came to look out for this comment

Same
This is probably one of my favorite UA-cam channels 💀 I just go on huge binged of this sometimes
After I saw all deaths in all 5 films I didn’t leave my house for a whole week
I watch all the movies and it gave me a bad dreams for almost a month in my childhood. For fcksake I even remember the time that I am having a hard time sleeping and having a paranoia.
Congrats on reaching 300,000 subscribers my friend :).

One thing to note is that Todd's death is the only one that is explicitly shown as supernatural. The others in the series can be written as accidents. Creative but not impossible accidents.
Todd's death is also the only one that looks like suicide, while the rest are ''accidents''

Damn this was such a good movie. I miss when movies and music was actually good=(
@Anthony Lopez ehhh not really. I mean kidna true but a lot is forced now and it feels like we are force fed apples & carrots instead of us liking it cause we chose to wanna eat them ya know ??
Thank you so much for covering this. Truly a neat supernatural series
That bathroom scene is the reason why I have rugs in my bathroom and my last two apartments had no windows.
Thanks to these movies i fear rollercoasters, planes, elevators and trains.
What about carwashes?
@duckhatfedora I can't find where I wrote something, please tell me what I said
no wait I found it

Can't stop watching this. Best video youve ever done dude
The real mystery is why that guy is shaving in the beginning with no damn beard or shadow😂😂😂
I know!
@A numba 9 large Extra dip nah that's how you get ingrown hairs
That scene really makes no sense to me. Like what are you shaving dude?
A numba 9 large Extra dip it makes the fuzz more coarse from the flat cut making the hair appear more thick
@@obama9076 so a way of shaping your beard
What about Vogue's turn around song?
Even the Guitarrist in the train sang it giving the main character a weird look.
The turn around song makes it creepy. As it hints that there is something that's gonna happen. Like in the drive thru it played the song and then Wendy looked back and the truck they almost hit earlier is falling over a hill and they escape and frankue gets squished
Congrats on the 300k+ I am proud of you.. I knew you since 39k.. My favorite channel is finally getting the subs it deserves!

The scariest part is how Hollywood managed to milk this series
I love these films 10/10 keep the good work going👍😁

Yet another great video, Sir.
We can't thank you enough.
These movies always fucked me up. It always freaked me out because at any moment we could die and that’s crazy.
Saw this film with my boys and all of us in the theater knew this would be an instant classic and hopeful for at least one more.

Good video!
Thanks mate :)
Has always another great video. One of my favorite movies of this genre.
I always wondered what would happen if the people who survived the last Final Destination movie decided to get off the plane from the first Final Destination movie. Hmm..
It was amazing how many actors from FD1, FD2, and FD3 were also in some episodes of a superhero tv show I used to watch.
Death be like: I wake up in the morning, I got murder on my mind
Congratulations on 300k mate!
(Cup falls over) *Final destination theme plays*
My favourite horror franchise (well, one of my favourites). I think all films were great except the 4th one. Thank you so much for making a video on this!!
I love your content
a friend and i fell asleep while watching the final destination and she apparently had a dream which she thought was a premonition of her and said people dying, she woke up with a bloody nose and was terrified.
The scene at the end with the incoming sign has been engraved into my memories for *decades* .

Wait wasn't Todd sitting behind Carter and Terry? If so in the path of the explosion why would he died first?
William Brown maybe a piece of luggage was supposed to hit him in the head

Death had literally one job:
showing people premonitions of their deaths
Enjoyed all these
No items. Fox only.
I am thinking to myself " out of all the videos that i could have clicked, why this one... before bed "
I think death grants people power of prem
So it can have a challenge to the game of death. Soo saying they're cheating death isn't actually true.
Life wanted to take back their present to give them something better, but Death wanted them just how he wanted them. And so they both just go into a lengthy argument.
