Bon's lyrics had an edge that the lyrics by the Youngs and Brian Johnson just don't quite have. It's a reason why Highway is actually my favorite AC/DC album even over Back in Black. But of course they have many really great albums so picking one is like picking my favorite ice cream.
If you could harness all that you’d never leave the bedroom except to eat and bathroom breaks. I love them. They are truly the greatest Sold more albums than any other band in history
When Phil's drums kick in at the beginning, you could feel the power start to build. Its amazing how you can take 5 people, put them together, and its epic. Mal, Cliff, and Phil, played so tight it was like they were one. Angus, incredible guitar player, and a snappy dresser, and Bon, sounded like he was in the middle of an orgasm when he sang, which is always a good thing. AC/DC destroyed the mold of what rock and roll bands should be, and that's why they've been around for over 40yrs. The music of AC/DC will never die. Malcolms passing is like losing an old friend. Well good-bye my friend, well done.
Angus is not only one of the greats playing guitar, he definitely has the greatest stamina of anyone I have ever witnessed on stage, because he does all the moving and playing the way he does the whole concert, WOW!!!!
i just watched the whole show and this man took just 2 breaks...one 5 second one to drink something and one to take his jacket (and basically everything else) off. my asthmatic ass could never.
Many guitarists have said they cannot comprehend his ability to move like that and never, ever, miss a beat. It’s unreal. Saw them at Dodgers Stadium, his solo was so hypnotic and religious that you walk away so drained.
Totally agree, his energy is unmatched in rock, even now he still gives his all. Watching him solo in live shows from the early years is a sight to see. Listening to the Bon era stuff is like drinking a strong cup of coffee, really gets ya moving.

@@masteryoda498 absolutely I mean look how many years later we still talk about Bon Scott and ACDC. Bon has stood the test of time through his music his songwriting his singing even the way he moved on stage is in my opinion the greatest of all time!
imagine that. A band just playing ROCK n ROLL in their music video. No flames or fireworks, no naked chicks in cages (not that there is anything wrong with that). Just rock. Name me one band in the last 10 years that will be known 40 years from now. Ill wait.
Bon at least gives the appearance he'd have naked chicks in cages on stage if he could. Also, flames and fireworks kept Kiss around… Anyway, for bands that will last, or at least some of the musicians in them will, Joe Bonamassa may not work for you as he's not a band, but how about Wolf Alice? Even if the band doesn't last, I'm betting Ellie Rowsell will.
@@familiarpurrson8744 Joe Bonamassa is GREAT. But he isn't AC/DC or Van Halen. Very few will have the type of memories bands like that have brought to us 70's and 80's kids. Wolf Alice? Indeed he made a very nice living off bonn scott songs for sure ... Riffs are always followed by content ... Of course head banging is best left for the Ladies of course .. Hehe 😂
Not to be mistaken for Metal.....AC/DC is not a metal band. They were a Hard Rock band. Judas Priest, Metallica are of the Metal genre'. But yes..one of if not the Best Rock Band ever.
The only thing ibdont like of its era is the kind of sound the band sound like you know oldy between highway to hell and The razors edge the quality of the sound was a lot better
Bon had a way with lyrics that was totally unique, and will never been seen again. He was raw, funny, a bit crude, a lot rude and one of a kind. Such a loss.
Bon Scott was the best street poet in History. His lyrics had a attitude that perfectly matched the music. I still am mourning Bon. Rock was never the same.
Crazy that they had almost as many albums in 5 years with Bon than the next 40+ years! Then some are like Ironman album where half the album is from the first 5 years!
I was born 1965 and grew up with AC/DC through the Early 70's - the present day. BACK IN BLACK was one of their best albums ever produced. But Bon Scott was thee original singer that made AC/DC What they are today. Brian Johnson is the best replica of his voice. They struck GOLD with him. LONG LIVE ROCK N ROLL. BTW I'm 57yrs old you younger generation have no FN clue about ROCK N ROLL music. Long live the 80's
It's my birthday today born 2/24/1965 I've been listening to them since I 11yrs old with Bon Scott. Then with Brian Johnson they will always be one of the best HARD ROCK BANDS EVER!!!
In my opinion agnus is far the best lead guitarist the world has ever seen I remember his response one time was he is going to put on the best show possible...yea!
That opening riff could resuscitate a flat liner. One the greatest hard rock songs ever. A shame they never seemed to play it after Bon's passing or that the radio of that time paid it no attention. Truly a looked over masterpiece.
I am not able to let AÇDÇ out of my heart and soul, I am 60 year's old, been a while but I don't think I can go without a fix from the music just wanted to make sure that we have this one
If i'm nervous i will get in my car and start listening to this amazing album 🤘... In this way i can fell better ... Front my point of view this is best prescription!
It absolutely amazes me that the single greatest musician in the group is completely out of the video and way in the back. Think about it ! Why ? Malcolm…..the selfless, humble hard working musical genius. The truest definition of a band mate.
Malcolm . . Was letting little brother Angus be the showman . . . And bon and Angus were good at it . . And Malcolm knew it . . . Malcolm also trusted his little brother and bon to handle the show up front . . While Malcolm sit back and enjoyed watching them because he knew they were a good show to watch . . . Malcolm wasn't stupid he knew them two were good at putting on a good show . . And they did just fine . . . If they hadn't Malcolm would have changed it around .
Brian is fantastic. Only man that could have filled the void. But there is only one Bon Scott. Legend. One of the best ever. And fat axl is trespassing.

Fucking love Bon!
And Bon was a brilliant song writer as well, the man was a musical genius.
@@masteryoda498 absolutely I mean look how many years later we still talk about Bon Scott and ACDC. Bon has stood the test of time through his music his songwriting his singing even the way he moved on stage is in my opinion the greatest of all time!
And will always have....
One of the best?
I’m literally without words after listening to this song. Best wedding song ever.
exactly
LOL
Hahaha
Yessssssssss
Lmao
Angus is a total firecracker! I think he should be the mascot for energizer batteries.
One of my all time favorites !!
& probably their most underrated song. The stars lined up perfectly when they wrote this masterpiece
If this song doesn't get you moving then you're just dead, so much energy, pure talent, bon is the man
Dead Meat Puppet
yup
@@johndoe480 What chicks have named your only hope.
imagine that. A band just playing ROCK n ROLL in their music video. No flames or fireworks, no naked chicks in cages (not that there is anything wrong with that). Just rock. Name me one band in the last 10 years that will be known 40 years from now. Ill wait.
Err....... Hmm..... *Silent pause*
Wolf Alice? Ellie Rowsell? WHO? LOL...never heard of either one of them. Not saying they are bad. But will anyone know who they are 30 years from now? Not really.
i think Greta Van Fleet has a chance at lasting a long time.
Only the last 10 years ? 45 years on and still rockin strong brother !
this clip is 40 years old now. Still holds up.
not only does it “hold up”, it smokes pretty much anything that qualifies for real high energy rocknroll these days...
Kicks new music right in the fuse box
Angus is one of the best......to be able to play like his ass is on fire and engage us with his passion is unparalleled. 🤘♥️👍
Indeed he made a very nice living off bonn scott songs for sure ... Riffs are always followed by content ... Of course head banging is best left for the Ladies of course .. Hehe 😂
Bad to the fucking bone. Best rock band EVER!
Hhhh agreed
Not to be mistaken for Metal.....AC/DC is not a metal band. They were a Hard Rock band. Judas Priest, Metallica are of the Metal genre'. But yes..one of if not the Best Rock Band ever.
huskers all the way
Satan called whe i played this, it scared him
No dought about that
I don't care what anyone says, nothing better than Bon Scott era AC/DC
Brian made some of the most iconic AC/DC songs and really pushed them into the spotlight but the Bon era is pure AC/DC how they should be
The only thing ibdont like of its era is the kind of sound the band sound like you know oldy between highway to hell and The razors edge the quality of the sound was a lot better
They're both good, stfu already.
@@glenbogger1873 yeah same but still think brian johnson not as good but both are good at the same time
Bon had a way with lyrics that was totally unique, and will never been seen again. He was raw, funny, a bit crude, a lot rude and one of a kind. Such a loss.
Bon Scott was the best street poet in History. His lyrics had a attitude that perfectly matched the music. I still am mourning Bon. Rock was never the same.
Malcolm was the engine, Angus was the turbo, Bon was the star. Phil and Cliff kept the band ticking and purring. ACDC, leaving all others in the dust.
Rudd is very strong there. He hits drums as strong as an earthquake.
Bon was a genius. He wrote down amazing lyrics while drinking too much through crazy nights.
Also composed by Malcome and Angus
And Bon
All 3
But yeah he wrote killer songs
Plus the drugs
Jailbreak + Malcolm guitar, his repeated riffs creates ACDC sound , I am not diminishing genius of Angus at all here
Crazy that they had almost as many albums in 5 years with Bon than the next 40+ years! Then some are like Ironman album where half the album is from the first 5 years!
It's good to see Angus go bat shit crazy when it comes to playing solos especially in this one
Nothing and no other band compares
Todays rock dont even amount to a scap on AC/DC'S ass. ROCK ON!
Legit dude I agree
@@avm9188 You mean scab?
AC/DC and Bon Scott forever in my heart!!!
No. You're 57 years young.
In my opinion agnus is far the best lead guitarist the world has ever seen I remember his response one time was he is going to put on the best show possible...yea!
actually highway to hell was the best ACDC album
I was born June 25th 1965, so in a way we are brothers
Crash, Bang, Boom, Bang, Bumped, Bump. In perfect harmony.. Yeah.
No one can ever rival Bon Scott as far as I'm concerned, nor this era of AC/DC. The best hard rock of all time!
Eric M brian had big shoes to fill, but he did it, i love both of them, i love all AC/DC
These guys are living legends right up there with Zeppelin
That opening riff could resuscitate a flat liner. One the greatest hard rock songs ever. A shame they never seemed to play it after Bon's passing or that the radio of that time paid it no attention. Truly a looked over masterpiece.
Definitely Angus needs another stage for himself!
He's a whole different spectacle!
Angus is really a truly unique performer. One of the most entertaining guitarists to watch live.
Angus probably gives really nice head , yes ? 😂
Malcolm wrote the greatest riffs.
People don't realize how much Mal's rhythm contributed to AC/DC's wall of sound!
The most fuckin' powerful song of AC⚡DC.
R.I.P. and WE SALUTE YOU BON SCOTT & MALCOLM YOUNG!🤘🏻
Someone in 2021, listening to this massive song by the band AC / DC that moves your heart and adrenaline and nostalgia... 🙌🔥🤘🤟
Of course, but you can just note the views and compare them within a week. :)
Right here with you.
Right here with you too brother!!!
today's music is so easily forgotten but this, this will never be forgotten r.i.p bon 🙏
AC/DC is and forever will be a legend. The music they played with make a fire within our hearts that will forever burn.
Bon had a voice and a scream that was one of a kind, pure unadulterated hard rock.
that's why he is the goat
3:24 One of the best solos Angus ever recorded.
Goddamn! There aint nothing like the early AC/DC. Angus and Bon just go off. Awesome.
Malcolm never gets his due.hes the best rhythm guitarist in ROCK HISTORY
Very true Malcolm had to be the best but most under rated .God bless him.Can u image being Angus older brother....
not true; when KEITH RICHARDS was asked about being the best rhythm guitarist his reply was; " You'd need to ask MALCOLM YOUNG" ....
That Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian has Malcolm and Angus tattooed on each of his arms. Just saying.
@@ub1953 you need to re read the main comment, not true, yes it is
Malcolm wrote most of the riffs...Angus has said Malcolm is better than he is.
R.I.P. Malcolm Young.
RIP Bon Scott.
Yeah Malcom
There’s not a guitar tandem , IMO who can touch the Young brothers
Angus’s leads & Malcolms rhythm
RIP Malcolm
🤘🏻🤘🏻
I am not able to let AÇDÇ out of my heart and soul, I am 60 year's old, been a while but I don't think I can go without a fix from the music just wanted to make sure that we have this one
True true that for sure.
The greatest band ever
Steve Harris/Dave Murray weren't too shabby .... best thing about AC/DC - songs are easy to play!
still the absolute best bands out there . no questions.
I cant even imagine how glorious was to hear the powerful voice of Bon Scott on stage, a beast!
AC/DC is so filled with energy. It always keeps me motivated.
If i'm nervous i will get in my car and start listening to this amazing album 🤘... In this way i can fell better ... Front my point of view this is best prescription!
@Lowie Patat i love listening the band before starting at work because they make me fell motivated! Isn't it?
Diego Serrano
Synonyms of energy: Angus young
The song is perfect; in every way.
Who's still rockin in 2021! Hail AC/DC 😈🎸⚡
Edit: Thankyou for the likes!
Dude I will rock forever 🤣😊
My kid Loves ac/dc!
ME!!!
I’m love this song
Masterpiece
The only way to listen to AC/DC is Loud!
With AC/DC time on time you should blow your speakers..
More than that
Correction. The only proper way to listen to Rock, is Loud, Louder, & OMFGAYKM, lol
Kiki
Brian is fantastic. Only man that could have filled the void. But there is only one Bon Scott. Legend. One of the best ever. And fat axl is trespassing.
XD yep axl is just going to ruin ACDC
Agreed
ac dc is old :( they need young blood
No, he sucks- his whiny nasally voice does not cut it.
Meaning Axle. Axle only.
I’m 74 and still listening to this kickass band. My grandson who is 34 says he can still remember coming in my house and AC/DC would be playing. He listens and plays his drums to their tunes.
I think it's actually one of their best songs
same
it is the best song of theirs
Yep!
Samesies.
agreee
The AC/DC days with Bon Scott were the greatest.....I was 14 when I got this album...
Yeah me too about the same age, good memories ;)
Jeff Darnell it's Bron scott
Robert Gibbons if your saying the first Singer for AC/DCs name is Bron...no it's not, it's BON Scott. Ronald actually...ask around..
Jeff Darnell the first acdc singer was Dave not Bron or Bon
Jimmy Baroch yeah.....well their first REAL singer was Bon
