I must say that this video was done REALLY well. I loved all the detailed information the owner gave, he spoke clearly, didn't repeat himself and gave a great overview of a fantastic overlooked collector car - 928. I really wish there were more of this type of video out there ... average guys with collections, no swearing, lots of information ... thank you!
This video has reached legend status in the 928 world. That 1980 Euro S spec bronze car is my favorite of the bunch featured in this video. Awesome collection. The pure design on the early cars is the spec for me but I do like the early S rear spoiler and 4.7 much improved engine. 5 speed is a must too so my search for the right one may take a while.
So great to finally see a Porsche collection which is NOT focussed on 911s. With the 928s my personal favourites are the later models withe the more structured, balanced (as opposed to rounded) looks such as the 928GTS (which is now quite an expensive collector's item finally!), but all 928s are worth preserving. Well done!
I love the Porsche 928 ! As a kid in 8th grade I was fortunate to get a ride in a prototype and I have been an enthusiast ever since. The 928 was so ahead of it's time in so many ways when introduced and I hope to have another. Great collection !
As a lover of 928 model Porsches since my childhood, it was really great to see such a well directed video. I agree 100% with other viewers in that the owner was fantastic about the level of detail and expert knowledge; not only about the cars in general but about specs of specific years, models, color combinations, etc. it was a great learning experience. As someone looking to purchase and restore a 928, it's invaluable gaining all this knowledge of the models and years. Thanks very much for it.
Cool collection needs later GTS models and a storage unit to house those he’s not working on so he can have some room to move around and maybe work on two at a time to completion. Would like to see these completed and running.
I have an 82' 928 5 speed that I absolutely love. Bought it on the cheap and it's a bit rough interior wise. Unfortunately fuel pump quit and it's been sitting since. Can't wait to get her back on the road again. Love the timeless design
The orange 928 you refer to , just happened to be at Porsche in Cape Town , South Africa when I went to get parts for my '85 S2 Euro and I got to give it a once over....it is very clean and everything is original from Paint to wheels.
Just bought 2 928 (1979) both manual. One actually looks orange. Paint is deteriorated. Favorite video on UA-cam. This collection is $$$. I remsmber 20 years ago everyone was scrapping these and selling them for cheap. Not so much anymore.....
I grew up with these cars and the 944 turbo. Love them both. They have a very soothing sporty sound. Nothing like American cars which were loud and obnoxious.
One of my all time favorites. I live in the same town as this collection and I have never seen any of them. Would love to get a tour. That orange one is so cool.
I would put my bed in that garage. To wake up to a room full of 928s I'd think I was dreaming

I think this man is the only person who understand that the early 928 are the most beautiful . Gosh I really envy you.
Most beautiful Porsche ever made, then, now, and into the future...PERIOD!

What a nice collection, I wish I had more time, space and money.

That Tabac metallic euro S 5 speed with phone dials is the perfect spec and is fantastic. I lust after that color.
Fantastic video- thanks for putting it together! 928s rule!
Very cool. Incredible collection.
