For real though, the grunts add so much personality to the game. They're just regular guys trying to survive in a war with super-soldiers, robots that are better in every way, and giant mechs. Reminds me of the Astra Militarum in 40k tbh my favorite faction of little guys in over their heads.
I used to walk with the grunts just to see their interactions and pretend to be one of them. This was in the original titanfall, how times changed
