All the above IMO More rigid board, waterproof all the way through, sealant application makes it fast & easy. And it’s 30% less dependent on where you get it 👍 Cons are, not available everywhere yet….and I think of another one 🤔
Steve, do you have any tips for how DIYers can get contractor prices on sheet goods? Some stores will give DIYers the same price, but in my experience, that’s a rare thing.

Just a regular carbide framing blade. Not exactly good for it 😆 thanks 😊
What sealant did you use when setting the board on top of the flange? Also could you use that sealant on durock?
