I really appreciate your video because you get straight on with it, no time-wasting stupid intro or discussion about it, just the facts. Most how-to video makers are clueless that a how-to should get on with it and save time!
Thanks a million, I learned some great tips.
Were you using a diamond blade to make that rabbet?

What sealant did you use when setting the board on top of the flange? Also could you use that sealant on durock?

Nice to see somebody else that takes pride in their work.
You should just invest into one battery platform.
Makes the work so much easier.
    Work smart not harder

Do you prefer the hydro ban board to goboard? I love goboard, but man that fiberglass gets itchy

Iv never heard of that brand, what makes it better than the popular kerdi foam boards? Price? Technology?

      All the above IMO
More rigid board, waterproof all the way through, sealant application makes it fast & easy. And it’s 30% less dependent on where you get it 👍
Cons are, not available everywhere yet….and I think of another one 🤔

Steve, do you have any tips for how DIYers can get contractor prices on sheet goods? Some stores will give DIYers the same price, but in my experience, that’s a rare thing.

@@davidherd3739that's a good question, I'm not sure how that would go, I'm sure Steve knows
