Unless it’s Michael himself, it’s just not possible to win a talent competition by impersonating the king of pop... the most one can achieve from this is people knowing that you worked hard to copy his moves yet still not be as good... credit to the ones who put their own spin on their performances of Michael’s songs by not trying to replicate the man himself...

The only way to win with impersonating is by doing it very well and most importantly you’ll have to impersonate several people. You can only win as an impersonator not as an MJ rip-off

I mean, there is nothing unique in impersonating others... good impersonators could be entertaining, but perhaps not so much competition winners on a multitalented competition...

He became a star at 10 and I fell in love at 10 after seeing him/them sing I Want You Back on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1969/70. I collect as much MJ material as I can. Blankets, pillows, jackets, magazines, framed photos, books. My love grows daily.

I totally agree, he was very structured through his music and dancing, he definitely had TONS of training for years to perform as he did. As goes for these people, it’s like they don’t realize all the years of work and training that goes into a single performance to perfect it and they’re unprepared and arrogant about their skills, you’d think they would try to get training before auditioning.
