You’re so damn underrated
These are a great value! I got them and I like them more than my airpods and about as much as my wife’s pros. I love the sound and the noise cancellation was fantastic on a 7hr car ride. Transparency mode works but is just ok as you mentioned. The only area I’m disappointed in them is call clarity. Your voice will sound muffled and robotic. I actually do use my airpods a lot for work calls and I don’t think these can replace them for that reason. But for everything else I love them.

Unpopular opinion: This is one of my fav looking wireless earbuds. They look unique and tiny when wearing inside ears. I don't understand why peoples expecting much from these considering the affordable price, it's actually very good all-rounder. Also, USB-C ftw 👍🏼
Actually it's performance isn't any better than a $50 pair...get a set of soundpeats blow these out of the water in every way and is a third of the price.

Although I believe that this review covers things pretty well I’m noticing a large omission a lot reviewers are leaving the Beats don’t have in-ear detection! and I think it’s also worth mentioning (although IMO in 2021 all true wireless should have but sadly don’t) that do offer individual support for either left or right earpiece.
That is true, and I did forget to mention it. But I don't think it's *that* big of a deal. I'll make a note to mention it in my comparison video with AirPods Pro considering they have it.

Great review. I am buying them. I am convinced i will be getting more value of them than the $300 sony wf1000xm4. And this will be my 1st earbuds with ANC so i dont have anything to campare then from.

@@carlson2012abqb I’m still debating on getting them after I got the sennheiser momentum tw2. Are they loud? Do they hurt your ears after minutes of use? Because these 2 problems were the ones I had when I owned the sennheisers
@@angelmaldonado5657 id say they are loud enough for me, never have to max out and probably the most earbuds I’ve ever worn. I’ve purchased over 20 pair in my lifetime lol
@@angelmaldonado5657 I just bought the Sennheiser TW2s a couple days before the beats were announced so I pre ordered them. To be honest I like the Beats better. The case is smaller, they connect much quicker, the sound and ANC are solid, and they fell better than the Sennheisers. I’m taking the Sennheisers back.

I’ve been using these for 2 full days now, I even went to the gym twice on the weekend because I enjoy wearing them so much. The sound quality is, IMO better than the AirPods Pro even. Especially since one of mine just sh*t the bed when I went for a normal every day run. Which is the reason I justified buying these even though I have the Powerbeats Pro. They are the most comfortable in ear buds I have ever used, and take my word, leave N/C & Transparency off and soak up the 8 hours of battery. The sound isolation alone is good enough to make these speakers rumble. Spatial Sound is on par with AirPods Pro as well. Only drawbacks are the battery isn’t instantly located and there’s no device switching without going into settings. These are a steal at $150 and they’ll be the only thing I recommend until the next best thing.
Do they fall out your ear like the AirPod Pros?
@@lorealdonae I have never had a problem with the AirPod Pros falling out unlike the OG AirPods, I’d towel my face off on the treadmill and one or both would go flying. The tips that these came with fit my ears like a glove as did the AP Pros. I might just be really lucky so I don’t want to give you wrong information because I’ve heard they don’t fit some people at all.

@@zk2357 I have seen reviews that make the audio calls sound as if they’re very “tinny”. I don’t talk on the phone all that much, but I made a few phone calls and I asked each person specifically how I sounded and they all said “like I was in the same room” - meaning it was clear on my end - and they sounded great on mine. Maybe it depends on the network quality, I’m not a professional, but without having someone else wear my buds and call me, I can’t say from personal experience. But I’d say they’re great based on others.
Wow I will respectively have to disagree. I got the beats buds for one day and instantly noticed a major decrease in sound quality compared to AirPods, pros or original. Returned them next day to Best Buy for the airpods

I have a pair of these and a pair of AirPod pros and I’m still trying to decide which ones I’m keeping out of the two. Both are so nice in their own ways. The AirPod Pros are so well rounded, clear and crisp. The Beats Studio Buds are also well rounded but more base heavy. I’m stuck here.
Does yours have in ear detection?
I bought these recently and they do have volume control . You have to turn that on or off in the app.
How does the fit compared to the AirPod pros?For me the right AirPod is a little too big for my ear

Hey Mark I have every model of Sony's earphones till the wh1000xm4's & I do believe they are pretty much bang for the buck but since the review's of the wf-1000xm4's have been slightly off putting. I am asking for your suggestion here which brand should be a value for money proposition in the premium priced segment?

Did you have the transperency mode problem where that the buds will switch into transperency mode no matter what you did.

The fact that they’re cheaper than the original AirPods, it will kill it off for sure in due time. I have the AirPods Pro as my daily, but I don’t like using them for working out (personal preference). I also don’t like bringing them out in public.
I feel like these would be great for daily use for when I go out. The fact that is has anc, yes it might not be the best, but it has that over the first gen airpods. Oh and changeable ear tips.

Where can I get an adapter?
Received mine from Apple yesterday and disagree with most of your review. Both ANC & transparency mode are below average. The mids & highs are very similar to the original AirPods, which isn’t saying much. They do feature a decent amount of bass, but the overall listening experience is subpar. The cheap, plastic case is far inferior to the AirPods Pro case. It just has a very cheap look and feel. The overall vibe is cheap…the antithesis of premium. Apple should have passed on releasing these.

Should we buy for workout in gym or for running?
I found them to work great while working out, but it requires a good fit in your ear to keep from falling out. Powerbeats Pro will still be better for intensive workouts.
How loud are they ?
Really waiting for the next generation of Powerbeats Pro. My dumb ears absolutely need the over ear hang-y thing :(
Fair! I still have my Powerbeats Pro but I rarely use them anymore.
I own Powerbeats pro, AirPods Pro and beats studio buds and the buds have stayed in my ears the best.
Maybe there be firmware update still new item they might fix active noise cancelling and microphones making phone calls apple good making updates on their devices

Agree I love mine but I'm a android user and my favorite music is rap and bass heavy songs so for me these are perfect for my music style and I had bought JBL free buds awhile back at 100 dollars and I'm being honest and they literally fall out immediately when I put them in idk if it's because I have small ears idk but that the second earbuds I had that fall right out of my ear so I literally have the JBL free buds to my dad for free because he was able to wear them without issue but me no so these beats imo are the best fitting earbuds I have ever tried and feel very comfortable in the ear I even forgot there in my ears sometimes so that's why imo I love these ear buds well worth the 150 to me my only issue was the USB C to USB C cord I have OnePlus 8 pro and it's USB C to USB standard plug and I only have one cord and I charge my phone and ear buds every night so that there both charged and ready the next day so I had to actually go buy a USB C to C adapter to be able to charge both at the same time each night

For sure these Beats were made to be universal with each ecosystem and that alone. Apple had to do something new with Beats already.
The biggest problem of beats buds does not have Automatic Pause and play.

I think it's a big mistake from Apple that they didn't put the H1 or W1 chip in.
Because I don't see the point for an iOS user to choose these $150 Beats Studio Earbuds to the detriment of Airpods-Pro that we find quite regularly at $180.
For Android users too, I don't see the point as they have no particular advantage over Galaxy Buds Pro, Earfun Air Pro, Soundpeat H1, Jabra 85T, Huawei Freebuds Pro, Amazon Echo Buds 2,Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro, Edifier Nb2 Pro...🤷🏽♂️.
