Between, We Indians haven’t got spatial audio/Dolby atmos/lossless for Apple Music yet. Seems like some are getting it under settings and disappearing after an hour. Please please update something on that if you have got any news for India🙏

I used to think Renee bordered on annoying fanboyism when he was at iMore, now he is indie it would seem he feels he can be more honest. I am so glad he went solo, and it was definitely the right thing to do, he is my go-to now for Apple stuff.
And don't worry about India being late to the Apple party - that will change soon, India will soon be a top-of-the-list country I have no doubt!

Seems like they are testing it out for india as few of them got it but majority of them haven’t. Just like how limited android beta was launched yesterday. Hopefully within a week we will get it. Fingers crossed 🤞

the microphone demo was super useful here. original airpods always helped me more than pros
They should have added the feature where when you take off the buds music stops playing.This feature was present in the 2017’s Airpods .So it’s very disappointing to see it’s not present in these .

I so do agree with you when it comes to the fit! I have many earbuds. From the more expensive to the more affordable & these really surprised me. They are so comfy & they sound really good.

It’s amazing how much beats improved over the past few years. I got some studio 2 for my bar mitzvah and they weren’t very good after a year and a half.

The powerbeats pro are amazing so these are definitely a major upgrade cuz of the case and extra features
The wingtips are not comfortable from a lot of different reviews and the studios comfortable and perform just the same

Pros for me:
No stem
Compact buds and case
Matte black!
Decent battery life
Anc and transparency
Decent iOS intergration
Android too!
Non deal breaking Cons:
No ear detection(first world problems)
No wireless charging for case(first world problems)
No icloud pairing (first world problems)
As someone who lived the greater part of his life on wired earphones i can safely say i can get by without the missing features and i got AirPod pros as a backup set to use in moments where im using both my iphone and ipad and need that device switching available, for all other times when its just me and my phone only these are perfect
6:52 don't edit out how quickly or slowly the phone recognizes the device for pairing

I didn't really find the AirPods Pro to sound any better than the Studo Buds in your test samples. The AirPods Pro sounded more "tinny/echo-y" where the Studio Buds sounded a *little* muffled but more rich.
This is the very best take I've seen on Beats' positioning in the Apple business model and product line-up. Well done!

Very good review, I watch a lot of review channels for multiple reason 1. I’m looking to buy a product or 2. Just someone to listen to while I get ready for the day and what not. However you do a really good job of keeping me engaged with what you’re saying, sometimes with other review channels I zone out and only realized I zoned out when a add comes on and blast me with sound ! @@ReneRitchie I think they are great for the price and while they have a few minor annoyances, they are great overall package and they show what redesigned AirPods Pro could be like
@@ReneRitchie, I ordered them, expected to arrive on June 25th and your video saved me and I canceled the order. The call quality wasn’t what I was looking for. Everything else was pretty awesome.

@@wwesuperstar1100 I was hell bent on this feature (sincerely) And then there's ONE device i have that depends on ultrasound. And it would always prevent ultrasonic pairing, as it routes audio automatically...as designed when detected. But I could not mute that ONE device out. But overall... synching across is pretty frigging awesome.

Why did you buy the buds+ instead of other alternatives?
@@rolandb.1866 ……I actually have my AirPods Pro too, but for my personal usage, it’s battery life is not enough 4 1/2 hrs without turning on anything on. So got the Samsung’s Buds + with over 10 hours on the earpieces and the case is just fantastic. Well is my good experience since your asking and I’ve never had any Bluetooth connection issues or anything. Hope that info answers your question.
How well does this work with a someone with a Macbook & an iPad & an Android phone

I’ve used both and one thing I will say is the fit is better on the studio buds the AirPods Pro always come out of my ears and don’t quite sit in. The beats are also more comfortable.
I think the AirPods Pro sound better and the noise cancelling was better, but value wise the beats studio buds offer more.
the only question i have: if you lie down on your side with the buds in, do you feel it pressing firmly onto your ear? how would you rate it between the beats flex (not at all) and powerbeats pro (very noticeable)
If I could go without feeling buds while sleeping on my side, I'd probably do it way more often

This is why I used Beats X for years. Shame they were so unreliable, I think I got through about five sets! I loved those headphones though. AirPod Pros hurt my ears after a while, and normal AirPods drop out and I end up swallowing them (that last bit may not be true)
I asked the same question somewhere else. The one thing that dawned on me while i was laying down using my pros, this one can't compare due to the button/control. It will most likely activate certain commands. So this will be a no go for me. Seems nice for walking and commute and price point is just right.
Considering its not difficult to find Airpods Pro for $199 now, would you still choose Beats Studio Buds?

I have AirPods Pro and no size tips or 3rd party option tip fit my ears, but I just tried it without any tips and I get active noise cancellation, from no tips!!!

Yes I have the exact same problem with the AirPods they keep on falling out of my 👂 and every 2 minutes I just have to push them back in but then I tried my friends AirPods Pro and they fit my ears.
Do they have spatial audio ?
Just an FYI to anyone thinking about buying, if you can’t stand any of the pressure that ear buds with tips make you feel in your ears I do NOT recommend these. Although they have the pressure releasing vents, it still produces enough pressure to feel. With the AirPod Pros I don’t feel any pressure. I just got the Beats Studio Buds in yesterday and will probably be returning them because of this issue. However, if you aren’t ‘sensitive’ to the ear pressure from ear buds then I would recommend the Beats Studio Buds because in my opinion the audio is a bit better for less money (barring the spec differences in the two)! :)

I wish they looked more like the Powerbeats Pro so they can go over the ear. I feel Ike they will fall out of my ear because I know that the apple AirPods do already.

Great review. I would buy these but the lack of head tracking is a deal breaker for me since head tracking spatial audio is coming to Apple Music this Fall. I'll stick with the AirPods Pro.

yeah you can
There is such a horrible trade off between both of these. Had AirPods Pro first. Returned because the low end is just missing with AirPods Pro. They weren’t very comfortable. Studio Buds give me that low end but the transparency mode is just horrible. I walk around the city a lot and feel even with transparency mode active that I’m still too closed up and not aware of my surroundings. I literally still have to take them out to have a conversation, where I didn’t have too with AirPods Pro. Transparency mode on the AirPods Pro wins. Noise reduction on both are great. Studio buds are more comfortable. I do feel like the studio buds are versatile. However, after using studio buds for 3 weeks the lack of seamless switching between my multiple apple devices is really missed. Another annoying thing about Studio buds is that my right studio bud sometimes works it’s way out and needs to be pushed back in. When doing so, if you touch them almost in any way, it’s hard to not accidentally press the face of them which activates the pause or start music or video streaming. I am considering a return to AirPods Pro again. It’s a matter of what trade offs I am willing to live with. I think loss of low end can be compensated for with my over ear headphones when I really want to hear music to the fullest. AirPods Pro are back down to $179 on Amazon which is only 30 dollars more than studio buds so price is not too much of a factor anymore.

I have the beats studio 3 wireless, and in typical beats fashion they have completely fallen apart. Thank God I didn't buy them but got them when someone I knew got them included for free with a new mac. I really want to get these but I wonder if the sound will be on the same level or close to it at least.
I listen to podcasts and audiobooks while I am working construction. Will these still work if covered by hearing protectors? I don't need the microphone of course. I like that the Beats seem like they would physically fit under hearing protectors while the dangling bits on Apple ear buds don't look like they would fit.
I'm super lucky, because I've never had any issues with my airpods 2 popping out my ears. Super comfy too.

How do these compare to Powerbeats pro?! Everywhere has them on sale at 169$ and I just picked up a pair but if they are worth waiting I will. I will be utilizing mine for the gym, biking, movies, music, etc. and I like bass rich sound, should I stick with Powerbeats pro? (I was hoping a 2nd version of those would come out since its been a few years)
The ANC on the Studo pods is top notch. Mostly which form factor you prefer?
If your recording with voice memos you can enable high res audio instead of compressed to get better quality
Sadly the last 2 releases of beats are still lower quality to Apple AirPods. Apple still want to try to keep their product as the “top tier” option.
How do you put these in your ears? I have small ears and I don't know how to put these in correctly. They keep falling out of my ears and I tried all 3 ear tips.
Was really hoping this would be a suitable replacement for my old Powerbeats Pro. Guess I’ll just stick memory foam tips and a wing on whatever new AirPods pro will replace my current set

Idk if my old studio buds came defective but the audio was super muddy and it sounded like a tin can, and the bass was odd sounding. Are these buds actually much better and my old ones were just messed up?

I was about to be upset as I recently just got into the Airpods Pro but not having that H1 chip makes a big difference for me. The seamless iCloud switching between devices without needing to re-pair has been a tremendous boon for me since I pretty frequently switch playback of my media during the day between my iPhone, iPad, and Mac computers. That aside though I do like the look of these quite a bit and the quality looks like it's there so I may just pick them up sometime for use with one of my non-Apple devices.

I'm the man for yall because I do landscaping and I'm on a ride mower, AND I have the PowerBeats Pro and the noise cancelation is OK but the ride lawnmower can still be heard I'd rate the PowerBeats Pro for cancelation a 7/10, and supposedly the new Studio Buds they have worse noise Cancelation

@@hchoutx4111 oh well then the powerbeats are that good, because when you're in a normal sounding environment noise cancelation is GREAT because you can't hear anything like if you're at your house in the living room, bedroom you can't hear your surroundings. And I also when I use to go to shcool i would have them on during passing period alot of students are there but the cancelation was very good as well inwould rate the school at 9/10. But when really noisy environment it's like I said 7/10

They sound fine but don't do the head tracking. Sound better than Powerbeats Pro to me and the ANC is top notch.
