When this Longstreet episode first appeared on TV I recorded it on audio cassette and listened to it a zillion times. Bruce Lee made 4 (I think) appearances that season. Great stuff.
That man was truly awesome! I wish he was still around kicking ass on silver screens today! Bruce had so much more to show us. No action star would shine if he was still with us now! He was the realest and the best of them all!
His concepts were very deep. They were influential because he had an open mind and came up with concepts that apply to almost all. He worked hard to come up to his own true expectations thus honestly expressing himself physically.
I love it how Bruce would speak like LaoTzu he really was awesome and I understand now why so greatly missed by so many.... RIP Bruce ty for your recommending this to me zenindia...
Bruce Lee was much more than an actor and he was much more than a martial artist. His place in history is secured and his legend grows with every passing year. A positive legacy. He was an exceptional Martial artist and fighter and personality. His creativity and understanding of the arts is unparalleled.
I really truly think that Bruce's acting is the most underrated part of his career. His acting in combination with his tremendous martial arts and physical skill is what made his movies great. If you take away Bruce's great acting you take away half of what made his on-screen performances so special. He truly was an Oriental Al Pacino haha.
Bruce Lee is the kind teacher we need today.Learning any martial art is not that difficult, becoming a black belt.Understanding to know how to use it at different situation is another thing, the element of surprise is really not that simple.
@TheIliketurtles123 This is not dubbed into english from another language. This is Bruce's actual voice. He spoke perfect english and lived in the U.S.
Max D. Only because Bruce died. If he had lived he would have been HUGE!!! After the success of Enter the Dragon the studios would have put up bigger and bigger budgets, better scripts, and made Bruce a major star. Sadly he never got to see the impact he made with ETD.
Chuck was only more popular here in the US after Bruce died and chuck had couple movies out. Bruce Lee was famous world wide! Even third world countries have seen his movies and loved him. Bruce's fame and legend is still growing and growing while chuck's US fame has almost fade out into oblivion. Because Bruce's philosophy behind martial art is so real and effective, he'll only get more recognition as the world of martial art progress.
“Somehow”. They complained he was too Asian when he played the Green Hornet’s Asian sidekick, Kato... Bruce would have been huge if he didn’t die so young, him and Chuck were real cool with each other so you know they’d have worked together again
yo en español el Jeet Jun Do fue una contribucion de Bruce Lee a las artes marciales ya que el dominaba perfectamente todas las artes por eso era maestro de maestro y hoy no ha habido quien le iguale para el era cuestion de filosofia era el puto amo
It was a TV show called "Longstreet." Bruce Lee appeared in four episodes as Li Tsung, an antiques dealer and Jeet Kune Do expert who becomes the main character's instructor.
Don't say that bruh. Asians are awesome. When we want to see true fighters, we turn to Asians. Hell we love Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Martial Artists. You guys are the root of why we have Martial Arts and why we have MMA and Karate. Not to mention you guys make our games/gaming systems and anime shows lol yall are dope my friend
That's what I've always admired about his methods. They weren't about learning to move like him, it was always about knowing how to just move the best way YOU can.
The Tv series was called Longstreet starring tv actor "James Franciscus". He died in 1985. Bruce was a guest star. He did a lot of tv roles before going back to Hong Kong to become a big star.
Hafis Rossi why you not trust? Haha .. in malaysia bruce lee fight with datuk meor abdul rahman .master silat.. in indonesia bruce fight with dicky zulkarnain . That's true...
june kune do - a mixture of kung fu, karate, boxing, thai boxing, hapkido, wrestling, fencing and other styles besdies. blended into one. that's quite an achievement!!!
Bruce had the fastest kicks and punches to ever be recorded, not to mention the testimony of Robert wall, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, and Chuck Norris himself who all stated on separate accounts that is a test Bruce Lee did with them. Inspired by kung fu the series Bruce Lee told his students to open their palm and place a quarter on it. He snatched the quarters so fast that he left a dime behind before it either one of them to close their palms.
"Hire bodygaurd or lead a less agressive life"

he was funny and wise... what an inspiration
RIP Bruce... you'll always be missed

"Hire a bodyguard or lead a less agressive life" :) I love that line. Bruce Lee is just pure awesomeness. I would love to learn Jeet Kune Do.
His concepts were very deep. They were influential because he had an open mind and came up with concepts that apply to almost all. He worked hard to come up to his own true expectations thus honestly expressing himself physically.

Bruce Lee is the most complete fighter in the world
I love Bruce's English... and he gave a delicious performance here.

no one can fight Blind fold in the earth but BRUCE LEE.
"...Nothing is obscure of the bright moon." wonderful writing!
That's one of my favorite quotes: "Either hire a bodyguard or lead a less aggressive life."
He is so handsome.
I love his style, Outstanding man in every manner, way and setting,
In the words of mr Lee himself: "-HADAAA!" *POW!*
bruce lee once said the only thing he would fear would be a bigger version of himself! !
When did he say that?
Bruce Lee is the kind teacher we need today.Learning any martial art is not that difficult, becoming a black belt.Understanding to know how to use it at different situation is another thing, the element of surprise is really not that simple.
Bruce Lee is amazing *___*
@TheIliketurtles123 This is not dubbed into english from another language. This is Bruce's actual voice. He spoke perfect english and lived in the U.S.
Amazing fighter, amazing actor, amazing body, amazing philosopher. And yet, Chuck Norris somehow became more popular.
+Max D. Chuck was the western hero in martial arts. It's sad really; should've been Bruce
Max D. Only because Bruce died. If he had lived he would have been HUGE!!! After the success of Enter the Dragon the studios would have put up bigger and bigger budgets, better scripts, and made Bruce a major star. Sadly he never got to see the impact he made with ETD.

Lee was on his way to make Asians cool, when he died so did our chances of being cool, if he'd lived, Asians might be as popular as blacks are today.
***** Wrong comment,mate.
***** They are interesting people, but your comment does simply not match the theme of the comment left by the original commentator.

First of all, asians don't need Bruce to be cool; and second even if they did he would have already completed the job as he's a real legend.
True, he's one of the coolest Asians ever, you have to admit though as a minority group asians usually get the geek roles.
Anyone know the shoes bruce Lee's wearing
Asics Tiger
Aghast Lotus i think there onitsuka tigers
Faroh - Clash Of Clans Onitsuka Tiger is piracy.
