I think people who say that type of stuff aren’t musicians and they project your criticism, because they feel like their being attacked when in reality you’re just fucking speaking your mind and musical opinion.
I'm a big Megadeth fan I have every single one of their albums but one thing Metallica and Megadeth does a lot they recycle a lot of their same sounds and to me that causes them to stay in their neat little box too much.

I'm saying this as a huge Megadeth fan for years, Dave Mustaine, Chris Poland and Marty Friedman are one of the top people that influenced me to at least try and learn guitar. Chris Broderick is also a beastly guitarist and so is Kiko.
I LOVE Megadeth and this song is great. I'd say a 7 is fair though. I LOVED Dystopia. Some of their best songs I think. I hope this turns out to be as good.... cheers.
Nah, he's been crap since the end of the U.A. tour, so when he pukes out crap like 13 & Shit Colliding, it's even worse. He gets a pass for this and Dystopia, though.

Really good considering the health issue he went through. Just like Bruce Dickinson didn't give up. He can't hit the high notes like he used to, but he still has a strong voice.

I`m a big fan of Megadeth, but i agree to a point regarding the solos. this is not exclusive to Megadeth though, i get the feeling that a lot of old thrashmetal guitarist has gone this way. It`s all important to play so fast it melts your face off, instead of creating something that really has a vibe. Take the solo in "The prince of darkness" by Megadeth, it is super simple, but it is eerie as fuck and really sets the mood and tone of something evil. Kirk did the same on the Hardwired album as well. Maybe they are afraid of beeing accused of not beeing able to melt faces as they get older🤣
What "gone this way". Rust in Peace have A LOT of solos (Holy wars? Hello). Yes, another time, was Friedman, whatever. Same for Peace Sells, tone of solos.

But it goes toe to toe with any of their other classics. This track will stand the test of time, and it will be a highlight of their catalogue.
I think it is pretty Good. Promising.....i think they Managed to write a Song that actual has the formal Shape of a Megadeth Song that made this Band Big! I like Dave’s Voice more when he had a Higher Pitch to it....but you can’t Help People getting older! The Refrain is a Little Bit Too......naja....but the Solos and the Riffing, and the Verse Vocals are Really Good! I wish the Refrain would be more Rougher! And Less Melodic! Don't like the vocals but sing like Sesame Streets Cookie Monster and even Elmo. I love death metal but Mustaine is a much more accomplished musician and writer than the majority of black metal musicians. At least he doesn't play the same chords over and over like black metal. I do agree that Mustaine should retire as a vocalist but who would take over.

I have listened to this song several times now. It is not as good as Megadeth 1985-1992, but it is better than most 2000’s Megadeth. The riffs are good but not as technical as the older stuff. The solos are fine, Dave’s solo being good. I would have liked a little more from Kiki. I just hope this isn’t the best song on the album. If this song is middle of the road, there should be some good song yet to hear. If not, I have the first seven original Megadeth albums to listen too…

Dave's voice gives Megadeth an extra edge of ferocity in my opinion. He never wanted to be a vocalist anyway. I love the song.
