Another ery enjoyable vlog, Helen - you don't need to divide your content ; we enjoy it all, whether in your craft room or out on the roads looking around us😍 I particularly enjoyed seeing the animals at Yarndale - so cute. I remember Whimseys!!! Used to buy one every year on our Sunday School trip😂 along with an Enid Blyton book and some sweets. 50p bought an awful lot of goodies in those days! 😂

Loved seeing the sheep as well as all things woolly. The trip through the Yorkshire Dales was beautiful. I can relate to a lot of the places you have featured in your vlogs as I've just come back from a two month holiday to Britain and I must say I fell in love with love with Scotland, what a breathtaking country. Thank you - it was a lovely day! Last year we just went for short trips in October, December and February - in the December trip we had sub-zero temperatures but the heater in the van kept us nice and cosy and we do have lovely warm sleeping bags, too! x

Another lovely vlog Helen. I guessed you’d buy the Christmas wreath, and the animal making book :). How great to meet up with fellow UA-camrs, and some folks who recognized you from YT. As you say, chatting with like minded people is a lot of fun. No one gets us like fellow crafters! I’m glad you had so much fun there, and a wee night away in the camper van is always fun. And before going to bed I look at your many many old and older videos, knitting and a soothing voice with humor and music and stories. Thank you for that. In this video you played a Dutch Sinterklaas sing: hij komt hij komt die lieve goede Sint. It is Sinterklaas and he is in Holland from the end of november, comes by boat and leaves the 6th of december again to Spain. There he lives. He is very very old. Hi Helen, thank you for taking us along on your trip. I also went to Yarndale on Sunday for the first time and was so overwhelmed with everything it has been nice to see it again through your visit. I love your channel as it is, we have a motorhome and I have just watched your trip whilst relaxing for the evening in the van during our latest road trip. We are not as brave as you and don’t do any wild camping, choosing to use quiet sites on all our journeys. Like you I knit, crochet and sew on our travels and so all your content understandably crosses over and is so enjoyable. I did see Janette, Dawn and Karen to say hello to and was so sorry not to have seen you too. Keep crafting, I look forward to tuning in each week and keep safe

My goodness, up a narrow track in the dark, I'd be beside myself, quite possibly crying😮. But what a great idea to make it a camper trip to get an early start at the yarn show. I'd love looking at the animals, too. i would be interested to see the rare sheep yarns and learn what sets them apart. And those tiny sheep you bought are so sweet. I agree that a show like this is for inspiration and building relationships. It has been fun seeing each of you vlog from the show and meet up. Thanks for sharing. I find one channel per youtuber easier to find. I can always turn it off if the subject matter isn't interesting. But I always find yours enjoyable regardless of what it's about. See you next time🤗

So far, I haven't been worried about being in the van on narrow, dark tracks - being inside the van always feels safe and secure... but I wouldn't have been happy stopping right amongst the cows overnight! Like you said it’s nice to chat to stallholders and meet new faces who are as interested as ourselves in crafting. Hello Helen. That was just so lovely. Just what I needed this morning. Thank you. I absolutely love the Yorkshire Dales and have stayed at the Racehorses Hotel a couple of times. I love it there that much that I have always wanted to live there. Perhaps one day. Haven’t visited North Yorkshire for around 10 years now though (cat commitments 😂). I think she’s saved us pots of money as I’m sure nearly every weekend we’d be off. It certainly doesn’t look as though much has changed and so pleased that all the pubs are still open. Have always wanted to visit Yarndale and it seems to be thriving. Loved all your purchases you made and what lovely gifts you received from your friends. Have a good week. Lesley x. P.S. Such a fun trip❤. The countryside is so beautiful, even with a bit of rain. I love all the different patterned sheep representing each year of the show, and having live animals as well. I have several patterns for knitted mice in my stash that I collected from British magazines and you are giving me inspiration to find my needles and add a few little friends to the household. Knitting is a wonderful pastime in the winter months.
I've never been to a yarn show but it's in my to do list for next year. I don't needle felt but those needle felt pictures were amazing! Think I may have to buy Sue Stratford's book too as I've fallen in love with the mole. Also got my eye on the kit for Waffles the Bear from Wee Woolly Wonderfuls. He's adorable 😍
I do hope you manage to get to a yarn show next year! The needle-felted pictures were fantastic although I wouldn't be confident that if I tried making one, it would be like the ones on display!!! I really enjoyed this! Love your piano accompaniment - dod I spot an English country dance in there? Sounded very Morris to me! I’ve very sadly, had to sell my camper van. A Toyota Alphard which I named Alfreda after my mum whose legacy enabled me to buy her. So lovely to watch your travels - I enjoy a nice mix up, do keep your podcasts in this format! Yarndale is lovely, only been once in 2019, we got the last double room in Stockton! I must explore those beautiful Attic yarns they look delicious. Enjoy your haul!

Love that I get to go on another trip with you and Phil. As you left Richmond and driving towards Skipton you played a tune on the piano. Could you tell me the name of that piece please. It is the tune of a Dutch children’s song for Sinterklaas (Dec. 5) and I have never known the name of the actual musical piece. The visit to Yarndale was so much fun. I had seen you on Dawn’s vlog - and felt a bit like I was along in spirit. The knitting community really is something very special! I have knitting friends all around the world and it truly is a wonderfully supportive and kind community held together by our love of playing with fiber. I remember Whimseys!!! Used to buy one every year on our Sunday School trip😂 along with an Enid Blyton book and some sweets. 50p bought an awful lot of goodies in those days! 😂

Loved seeing the sheep as well as all things woolly. The trip through the Yorkshire Dales was beautiful. I can relate to a lot of the places you have featured in your vlogs as I've just come back from a two month holiday to Britain and I must say I fell in love with love with Scotland, what a breathtaking country. Last year we just went for short trips in October, December and February - in the December trip we had sub-zero temperatures but the heater in the van kept us nice and cosy and we do have lovely warm sleeping bags, too! x

Another lovely vlog Helen. I guessed you’d buy the Christmas wreath, and the animal making book :). How great to meet up with fellow UA-camrs, and some folks who recognized you from YT. And before going to bed I look at your many many old and older videos, knitting and a soothing voice with humor and music and stories. Thank you for that. In this video you played a Dutch Sinterklaas sing: hij komt hij komt die lieve goede Sint. It is Sinterklaas and he is in Holland from the end of november, comes by boat and leaves the 6th of december again to Spain. There he lives. He is very very old. Thank you again for this episode with the beautiful old landscape🌼🌼

I love your channel as it is, we have a motorhome and I have just watched your trip whilst relaxing for the evening in the van during our latest road trip. We are not as brave as you and don’t do any wild camping, choosing to use quiet sites on all our journeys. Like you I knit, crochet and sew on our travels and so all your content understandably crosses over and is so enjoyable. My goodness, up a narrow track in the dark, I'd be beside myself, quite possibly crying😮. But what a great idea to make it a camper trip to get an early start at the yarn show. I'd love looking at the animals, too. i would be interested to see the rare sheep yarns and learn what sets them apart. And those tiny sheep you bought are so sweet. I agree that a show like this is for inspiration and building relationships. It has been fun seeing each of you vlog from the show and meet up.
Thanks for sharing. I find one channel per youtuber easier to find. I can always turn it off if the subject matter isn't interesting. But I always find yours enjoyable regardless of what it's about. See you next time🤗

So far, I haven't been worried about being in the van on narrow, dark tracks - being inside the van always feels safe and secure... but I wouldn't have been happy stopping right amongst the cows overnight! I have loved watching the Yarndale videos of other podcasters - it's interesting to see what catches the attention of other people, sometimes the same and sometimes things that I didn't even spot while I was there. xx

I've been to Yarndale several times but this time it was made more special by also meeting some of the lovely podcasters that I regularly watch. I also used to collect Whimsies when I was younger - they are packed away in my loft - I should really find them out again! I'm currently at Bridlington with our touring caravan. Hello Helen. That was just so lovely. Just what I needed this morning. Thank you. I absolutely love the Yorkshire Dales and have stayed at the Racehorses Hotel a couple of times. I love it there that much that I have always wanted to live there. Perhaps one day. Haven’t visited North Yorkshire for around 10 years now though (cat commitments 😂). I think she’s saved us pots of money as I’m sure nearly every weekend we’d be off. It certainly doesn’t look as though much has changed and so pleased that all the pubs are still open. Have always wanted to visit Yarndale and it seems to be thriving. Loved all your purchases you made and what lovely gifts you received from your friends. Have a good week. Lesley x. P.S. You press down once, and there are breaks in the line that tells you the length of the video, and your time stamp title appears just below the line. You can then fast forward to the next section. I don't do this, as I love watching all the way through! 😊

Such a fun trip❤. The countryside is so beautiful, even with a bit of rain. I love all the different patterned sheep representing each year of the show, and having live animals as well. I have several patterns for knitted mice in my stash that I collected from British magazines and you are giving me inspiration to find my needles and add a few little friends to the household. Knitting is a wonderful pastime in the winter months.

I've never been to a yarn show but it's in my to do list for next year. I don't needle felt but those needle felt pictures were amazing! A Toyota Alphard which I named Alfreda after my mum whose legacy enabled me to buy her. So lovely to watch your travels - I enjoy a nice mix up, do keep your podcasts in this format! Yarndale is lovely, only been once in 2019, we got the last double room in Stockton! I must explore those beautiful Attic yarns they look delicious. Enjoy your haul!

Love that I get to go on another trip with you and Phil. As you left Richmond and driving towards Skipton you played a tune on the piano. Could you tell me the name of that piece please. It is the tune of a Dutch children’s song for Sinterklaas (Dec. 5) and I have never known the name of the actual musical piece. The visit to Yarndale was so much fun. I had seen you on Dawn’s vlog - and felt a bit like I was along in spirit. The knitting community really is something very special! I have knitting friends all around the world and it truly is a wonderfully supportive and kind community held together by our love of playing with fiber. Thank you for the lovely video! You really shouldn't apologise for doing this video instead of the other campervan one. I van imagine how excited you were! What a fabulous time you've had! It's always so inspiring to go to an event like that, and as you said, meet the likeminded people.
It's always a pleasure to see the roads that you travel, the food that you eat (I've noticed there's lots of mashed potatos and peas yum!) and the places you visit. It's like traveling through your eyes.
I was spinning on my Gotland fibre and listening to your happy music and really enjoyed the time n your comapny.

Hi Marina - I'm very happy to know that you were spinning along with my piano music! It was very exciting to be at Yarndale - in fact it's almost a bit overwhelming to be in the presence of so much wonderful yarn and lots more! It's great that you can come travelling with me, too, but of course I will always be sharing my crafty activities, too, on a regular basis!
