- Fendt Ideal Combine Harvesting Corn near Rankin Illinois
Video I shot of a Fendt Ideal 8 combine with a 12 row Drago GT corn head harvesting corn near the town of Rankin Illinois. Also in the field is a Challenger 1042 tractor pulling a J&M 1251 grain cart.
This fall I was able to video a total of four different Fendt Ideal combines in action in Illinois. Two harvesting corn and two harvesting soybeans. Stay tuned for future videos of these and lots more 2020 harvest footage. - Авто та транспорт
Another great video Mike, thank you very much. Fantastic drone work too by the way. 🤘
that is one good lookin tractor and grain cart
....not a bad lookin' tractor and grain cart.......combine is nice too.....
Great Video, Love this lineup of AGCO Brand Equipment.
Tha Fendt Ideal com bone is becoming very popular lately.
Love to see the agco combines in action , go job Mike
Thanks for the vid! Makes me miss my farming years.
The ideal is one heck of a combine👍😁 the challenger tractor looks good too😉👍
Really nice video Mike. Two thumbs up!!👍👍
good looking machine lots of capacity.
What a beautiful machines and video Mike!
That thing is flat eating the corn !!
Love that combine very impressed what it can do , that’s fast unloading . Speeds up loading trucks faster . Great awesome video mike,
Thank you very much for this video!
Great special effects with that cab corn! I like those Fendt machines! Just wonder with the new design how long to workout all the bugs! Guess the 5 year bumper to bumper warranty helps one in deciding to purchase huh? Great video Mike!
Happy Thanksgiving you ol’ farmhand.
Yeah Mike I like your videos
Neat setup
Great video Mike. Happy Thanksgiving.
I don't think the bottle neck was with the slow unloading of the green painted combine. the few clips of the combine at the end of the field and no semi's waiting. The guys i drive for have 2 green combines and 2 grain carts. and 5 semis keeps them moving along all day.... Great video as always.
Got that right, the unload speed of a combine is the last thing to worry about in speeding up harvest.
Love the cab corn comments 😂
Thanks mike good one but I Luke your old school videos bettwr
Great video!!
Very nice
Good one, amazing how much European equipment is showing up on your channel. Lovely big fields compared to mine in Wales 👌
The ole J&M cart needs a bit of TLC in that rusty area in the back
For a second i though it was a video about Brian’s farming videos harvest. They run a challenger and they just demo an ideal 9 I believe in his last video, that look just like this
A tip : watch movies on Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.
@Stephen Antonio Yup, been watching on flixzone for months myself =)
@Stephen Antonio yup, have been using Flixzone for since november myself :D
Awesome Mike Happy Thanksgiving from oklahoma
Same to you!
My oh my! What a corn hog that machine is! I have no idea how much it is throwing over the sieves and out the back, but it looks great from a distance.
Supposedly there are a high number of onboard sensors, including a lot actually inside the machine, that can optimise the settings of the sieves, so that nothing gets thrown out the back.
Rest assured, anyone who can afford the price tag of one of these babies, is not gonna let it go down the field, throwing money out the back.
Also, Agco Technicians can be called out to optimise the settings via laptop diagnosis, if things don't perform as planned.
Don't know why they're bothering with the grain cart. An auger that long ought to take the corn right to the bin. Nice video Mike.
Could put it on a rail hopper actually. Go around the entire grain silo business completely and head straight to the processing plant. Certainly possible in North Dakota and Texas anyways...Texas especially where high humidity causes serious issues related to storage. Point being the soon made into a feed product the much higher quality that product is thus fetching a premium price.
Happy Thanksgiving Mike from Washington Court House, Ohio
I’m 4 hours north of you right up I-75, just outside of Elida, OH.
Machinery Pete or somebody had a pic of their old combine it had the Busch sticker on the side. I didn’t quite understand it either...
Cab corn is always the cart operators fault
We have to run 2 1200 bu. carts to keep our Gleaner S97 moving in corn, one cart and we stay stopped waiting.
He might be growing corn for Busch beer!
Looks like the corn got beat up by some wind. Any much grain loss?
Happy Thanksgiving Mike!
Same to you!
That is a bad ass combine! How difficult is to get parts for that MAN engine and price compared to a JD?
Probly be waiting. That's why everybody goes to Deere
When i saw the thumbnail i was sure this was from Brian Browns farm :p
Nice video Mike!
Thanks 👍
was that your drone i saw buzzing around a Claas combine in southern Ashtabula county earlier this week
No wasn't me
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone
I live 5 minutes from Rankin in Cissna Park nicely done Mike
Have done that in along time my boss farms around it
@BBDcummins nice tellem hello for me😄
How does the farmer like that Drago corn head? Does it work as advertised? A really sweet unit thanks for the vid and thank the farmer for allowing you to film. Stay Safe and have an Awesome day.
The drago gt is incredible. Not much anymore work as advertised but they do. Used to think Deere had the best head, tried rota disc, drago destroys them. Zero loss, auger doesn’t even wrap in the rain or horrible trash conditions where it’s double planted in pin rows. Amazing quality and setup from the factory.
@@stirv6462 That is Awesome thanks for the info have a great day and Happy Thanksgiving stay safe.
that wrap on auger is for a tractor driver to know how close he could get to combine?
Hey there Farm Hand.
Happy Thanksgiving
Same to you!
Nice video. I watch a lot of farm videos... farming is my history. I operated a lot of makes and models of tractor and other tools... and I just can't understand flasher lights being used in the field... Try to explain that to me in a way that makes sense.
Lets the cart operator know they better get to the combine, it’s full!
I may have missed it, but how long was that unloading auger? 34’?
I'm not sure.
👍👍👍
Last Sunday i went to mom and dad's i gave my phone to dad on UA-cam and said here you can watch Mike for awhile
He watched for a good half hr
This Fendt combine is a good combine. I do not mean to dismiss good, advanced engineering on any farm equipment. What I am coming to is that color. Farm equipment, that has an all black color is brutal and very unwelcoming as far as I am concerned. The only thing that should have a black color on farm machinery is the tires.
Hey Mike do you own a farm
the visabilaty on that head is not good, but atleast the combine stayed togather.
The visibility is a joke on them. Can’t see the gathering chains or deck plates at all. Never get to see a single ear or see if anything plugs.
this is only my opinion I dont really care for black equipment like that combine I prefer more colorful equipment atleast I can see em a lot better than black farm equipment that looks do boring to me but I did see one guy that came up with his own combine called the Python which was built for tough canadian conditions it was black and white to,but people told him that was a mistake to paint it black and white so he went to a farm show and held a pick the color contest I cant remember but most people said leave it as is Black and white
Aren’t those made in Germany🤨 ? If they’re not made in USA there shouldn’t be any government subsidies also known as “farmers welfare “
