You’re so organized I’m loving it
I love seeing the real numbers when it comes to budgeting 😁
so happy for u!
This is probably the quickest that I've ever clicked on your video and I am living for it!!
anyone else OCD triggered because the all the cash is not facing the same way?! :o
love these vids tho!!!
You didn’t count your 20s correctly for your car maintenance. I think I saw a group of 6 20s that you assumed was 5 to make a pile of $100
do something useful. This is a pointless comment. Fucking my dead grandmother is super lit.
Hi Alyssa,
Can u show the dave ramsey technique for monthly paycheck? Ive got paid monthly not in weekly basis. Thank u and take care from Malaysia xoxo
What is the difference between the cash envelopes to live it home then to live it in the checking account for when you need it please let me know
love these videos of yours 💞 they have really helped me with responsible budgeting as a 19 year old. hope you realize you’re making a difference and inspiring so many people! including me!!!!! also, what type of pen is the one you used in this video? keep up the videos pllllease 😘 love from chicago xo
Hmm that's a good question! I think this is a Pilot G2
I’ve been using my card to pay for gas lately, I stopped using the cash system for it because it’s not something I tend to overspend in lol. I get paid weekly, so every Friday I just fill my car. Much easier.
That's great! I love when people change things around so it suits them and their needs!
I know. I do the cash diet after rent and utilities and I was thinking yay I have 50 dlls left for the next 3 days and then I realized oh great I haven't filled up my car's gas tank.
Me & my husband tried this one time 😩 ... but ut actually worked!!
No one loves you. I put my whole car in the trunk of my car after I bought a whole wheat chicken who was the Japanese Prince of Tennis in the 2000's.
Thank you...your system has helped us. It is working.
What kind of pen are you using
How would you make this work if your spouse gets paid weekly and you get paid biweekly?
I remember when you were starting and you grew so quickly!
I wish she would say what company she works for it would help the stay at home moms!
Dezarae Sal what does she do ?
Dezarae Sal I’ve been wondering the same thing. What does she do from home? I’ve been looking for something sustainable
She works for an insurance company from home checking out claims
I'm an insurance fraud investigator. I don't discuss which company I work for due to personal security issues, plus we're a tiny company of about 10 employees and unfortunately we're not hiring.
Alyssa Herbert thank you for sharing. What you do is great. I love your videos
I get so excited when you upload 👏🏼😁 also yes can’t wait until you announce who you will be helping with budgeting... also for the capital one 360 since you mentioned it takes about 2-3 days for your money to transfer over how do you handle that let’s just say your bill is due like the next day and your money is not in the account yet I’m not sure if I make sense lol it sounds better in my head 😂
Elvia Ramirez I was wondering about that too! It’s takes so long to transfer money. I just opened up the checking and savings with them and it took three days to transfer $20 lol.
Have you checked out The Budget Mom here on UA-cam and Instagram? She has a awesome cash envelope budget that you can print out. It helps you keep track of your goals, your debt, and you savings. It awesome!
Alyssa, I cannot recommend a health savings account (HSA) highly enough! I'm relatively healthy and have been able to just let most of the money sit there and grow but a recent medical scare (that turned out to be nothing) was made ever so slightly better knowing that I have thousands of dollars set aside for medical expenses if anything should come of it.
Hey? I wanted to ask if someone with a GED can study towards doing the job you do now? I’m from Zambia in Africa.
Hi! I'm not too sure. I think when they hired me they were mostly just looking for experience that translated well to the job duties. I didn't have a degree when I got hired. I'm not sure what other companies look for however!
So do you have a savings account or no?
Great video!
I need to get a cheaper cell phone plan
My husband has Mint and I have Google Fi. Both great!!! Google Fi I think has more features but limited to the phones you can get. Zero complaints about mint!
I have Virgin Mobile for $40.15 with phone insurance. I may switch to Mint mobile like others have been suggesting just to save a little.
Usmobile is great. Unlimited everything, I think, is at 40 out just under it. Goes off Verizon service.
After your car loan is paid off, will all the “debt snowball” money go to school? Groceries? Spending money? Lol 😂
I'll follow the rest of the baby steps at that point! Build up my FULL emergency fund, save for a down payment for a house, everything like that! 😊
thank you, so helpful!
Hi... sorry I'm late
Unacceptable. What are you, the White Rabbit? I sentence you to watch all of Game of Thrones, then to listen to Cardi B. for 16 hours over and over until your IQ drops dangerously lower than mine from the very cadence alone of that lady's proud to be stupid voice. I can smell her through my car speakers when I'm scanning FM Radio. Yeah, its really very unfortunate. Smells like salty garbage on a rainy day in Hong Kong but that's the risk you take when you're listening to a radio. On a more positive note it serves as a reflection of how big she is right now and for I guess like the last few years or so. Ever notice how there's actually some interesting stuff on AM radio sometimes? Pretty cool.
Been following Dave Ramsey and the $48 for your extra ex: Disney that you pay would not truely be following his principles. My question is why don’t you apply it all to the debt snow ball?
I definitely have done many things in my life that are not "Dave Ramsey Approved". I've never claimed to be a militant follower of his principles. I have created priceless memories with my boyfriend and his family over the last year of having this Disneyland pass, and that to me makes it beyond worth it. I've been able to consistently pay $1000+ per month (sometimes even $2000) toward my debt and I'm knocking it out so quickly. To each their own! I can totally see how many people would find it frivolous. Budgeting is very personal and unique to each person. Thank you for the comment! ❤️
