    One thing I’ve noticed about anxiety is that when you overcome one symptom and it loses the fear factor it tries to throw something else at you, it can literally mimic anything! Key is losing the fear of fear

    How do you get comfortable that your Dr had ruled out EVERYTHING? I’ve been suffering with anxiety for 30 years and in the past 5 or 6 health anxiety has been terrible. I’ve been to neurologist, cardiologist, the ER and many visits with my regular doctor. I still sit here and think this time it’s a heart attack or now it’s MS or ALS. I need help. This is ruining my life 😢

    I remember when i was going to doctor for emergency case or for normal check up because of panick attacks or physical symptoms. I use to pray that please don't let anything happen to me. I don't want any life danger disease and my main foucs was on heart attack so i use yo pray before getting results that please don't be heart attack😂😂. And when results were out and it would all good nothing wrong and i would be oh thank god. Its nothing serious.. i also at point of time believe i will be having blood cancer coz my red blood cells were little high then the normal count. And i was hell scared and that boosted up anxiety. And that's how my anxiety cycle literally started.. after everything was clean chit from doctor then i was convinced that its anxiety nothing else. Even now on my way of recovery journey i still have this fear of health. Am still scared to eat outside food thinking that it will cause heart attack.. i know its all anxiety and m trying to learn let go and true acceptance..

    Shane I was wondering if anxiety and ocd are the same thing because I’m kind of at a cross roads on what is going on with me so this is my story at the end of 7th grade I was outside or what ever and these kids I knew came by and one of them slapped me on the back of the neck it kind of shocked me little bit but I was like whatever because everyone at school was doing it to each other but they started saying crap for no reason so was like let’s go and the whole school yard was all packed between me and him but we’ll at the end we just exchanged insults and that’s it But I went down to the office to report what happened and I was writing out what happened and i started crying and I was kind of hurt and basically they got in trouble and where really sorry for what happened but anyway I went on to 8th grade around January of that year I started doing private school then 9th grade I went to my high school and I started having crazy anxiety where I felt dr dp class where I’m like who the heck am I or what does this whole thing mean and I had they crazy brain fog when I couldn’t read jack crap and when I socialized I felt so blocked off I would just have panic attacks I could go on like dude i was shaking when I was taking to friends and people like someone pointed out I was trembling and also this started happening when I smile of whole smile buckles and I started having weird thoughts about people like the strangeous crap you could possibly concierge up I felt paranoid of people out to get me ok so I was like ok I’m just going to do online school for awhile because this ant working so that December I started doing k12 it took me some time to get me fineilized in the system so my parents went out to leven worth for the weekend with friend so I was home alone with brother and this is when I went quake I started having I little bit of anxiety at home which I didn’t really have before but I was like ehh well it will pass but they came home and each night after that I started having intrusive memories of the event that I mentioned about that happened school and when I was on my bed I would phscaily feel a slap On the back of my neck The weeks went by months went by and it started morping where I would feel literally feel someone slapping me all the time for like a year then it went away and it got bad again then right now it’s not that bad right now or I might be just used to it I could elaborate in detail a whole hecka a lot more but my finger is going numb from texting but if you could help me out get rid of this once and for all you would be a god sent.

    So I started having brain fog and derelization symptoms around January of this year. And I'm not sure if I got the virus or not but I had some symptoms. One of the long term effects of covid is brain fog and more... Is there anyway of knowing if anxiety caused/causes it or if it's a long term effect of covid.

      First step to overcome: Stop trying to figure things out. :) It's not important why you have symptoms 24/7 now - it's imporant not to have them at all eventually.

    • @unchainedmikki
      @unchainedmikki 3 роки тому

      @@thc7865 Okay. So if you are not anxious, why is your brain defending you against extreme anxiety? :) You don't need to feel anxious to have symptoms tied to anxiety. And DP/DR is the peak of mental anxiety symptoms, just like panic attacks tends to be the peak of physical symptoms. That's why usually people have either DP/DR or panic attacks, very very rarely those two alternate and you basically never see them appearing at the same time.
      It's great that antidepressants numb you so you don't feel the anxiety but it doesn't mean that the anxiety is not there anymore. If it wasn't, the DP/DR would disappear too.
