I had the 250N Superdream in 1978 and my brother had the Honda Nifty 50 at that time too. Another brother had the Honda 175. Those Elephant Flare jeans were a friggin deathtrap on the bikes tho. Got caught in everything. Great memories, wish I had the foresight to record it.
Great to have you and the gang back Steve. Seeing you at 17 was like watching the Bay City Rollers pitching up at your house. Brilliant. look forward to more trips out with you.
Good to see you out and about Steve. 45 years in the blink of an eye eh crikey lad the older we get the faster time seems to fly by. Take it easy on the knee and stay safe brother .
Steve! Cool looking jeans and even cooler looking hair. I was sporting a Yamaha DT360 Enduro back then and the same jeans but my mom put a stop to the hair. Good job on the videos and glad to see yah back. Kind of had a hard time hearing you on this one. See yah next time.
Great to see you back Steve on what seemed to be one of the driest days we've had so far. Similar to yourself I've not had a ride out since the end of August last year and looking forward to getting in the saddle again after usually doing around 4-6K miles a year. Take care and keep uploading your videos. 👍🏍🏁
Great to see you back!! You've inspired me to try and find a massive pair of flairs to rock!! Looking forward to your adventures this summer. Best of wishes Justin
Nice to see you back Steve. I am planing a European trip this year, hopefully the Swiss Alps. You did a trip there so years ago, what would you say is the best time of year to go.
We did it June time but it was so hot but think it was a bit of freak weather when we were there. I know one thing you are in for a bike tour of a lifetime my friend. Ride safe and ENJOY !!!
Glad you are still with us. loved the old film as I had a 250 superdream in the 80's for riding to work and back. 25 miles each day and only let me down once when the throttle cable broke on the way home. Just pulled the cable end out of the twistgrip and pulled the inner cable with my fingers to get home. try that on a modern bike. Hope that knee gets better soon.
Glad you’re still alive and kicking sir… great vintage footage too… the jeans and hair were epic!!! Stay safe, and look forward to seeing your trips as and when they happen, thanks for sharing. ❤️😁👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Nice to see you back Steve, I've missed your videos. I've not stopped riding through the winter (mostly dry days only) and we've had some cracking runs out. keep the vids coming my friend, ride safe!
howdy Steve, good to see you, the Muzz and John back...........was hoping all was well given the longtime no see. Interesting to hear of this years plans as well the older vid back in the day.........we all had 2 strokes in our 250 days. Stay well y'all :)

Looking forward to seeing your 2024 adventures Steve . Glad all is ok and hope your knee doesnt hinder you too much ( i have the same issue) . Safe riding 👍
That cine film took me back a bit. I used to work for a production company and when I wasn't out filming, part of my job was to convert cine to vhs. Oh how things have changed
great to see you back at it Steve, me I reached the end of my biking days, from 1973. all I can say is the wife,s invited themselves on our runs and then the trouble started, ill still be looking out for your vids but my heart is not in it anymore
Good to see you back. Carol says you sound like me complaining about my dodgy knee 😅 I wonder how many pot holes could have been filled for the price of all those average speed cameras? Those 360 cameras are nice but we don't use ours that much. We're big fans of the DJI Action 4. Stability is awesome, picture quality great. Battery life good but nothing with beat the battery life on the Drift, Love the home cinema. I was on a Yamaha FS1E in 79/80. We has a nickname for the Honda 250N The Honda ### Dream 😂 Hope you manage to get away on tour 👍
Knee's a lot better now Richard 🤣and agree with using money on potholes rather than stupid average camera's. The 360 camera's are amazing what they can do but I'm just not a lover of the fish eye effect you get on certain views think I'll be sticking with the faithful Drift's lol. Seen footage with your Action 4 and seems very impressive. can remember the Yam Fizzers and I started with a Honda SS50 😂 Always good to hear from yourself and Carol ride safe the pair of you and thanks for watching 👍
Hi Steve I’m newly subscribed to your channel but have watched a lot of your videos and I have so enjoyed the outing with your fellow riders and the laughs that you have it’s great. I don’t ride but years ago a passed my CBT but never took it any further, I just became a pillion passenger to my ex and I used to work in the bike business. Great to see a new video up and look forward to your upcoming tours stay safe and thank you for great commentary and pictures 👍
Thanks Sandra for taking the time to comment, it's a shame you didn't continue after your CBT and joined us in the biking community. Pleased you enjoy the videos and here's hoping the weather is on the up so we can get out there on more adventures. Stay safe

Good to see your videos back on UA-cam. Sorry, your knee is playing up . Getting old is only for the brave . Had a recall for the drive shaft on my BMW. I would think yours will need doing as well ?? Welcome back and I look forward to all this seasons videos.
Feel your pain bro, feel your pain, but nice to see you out and about on the bike again. It’s now mid April and I still haven’t had the bike out this year, Scotland’s still stuck in mild winter mode 😢
Nice one Steve, enjoyed the vintage malarkey,it took me back to being able to ride with no lid lol ,,,,,Good to see you and the lads back in the saddle 👍 Ride Safe Mr B \m/
We have to accept here in the UK the weather is rubbish, hence the bikes stay in bed. Hopefully though better weather and riding days are coming soon. I loved the old cine film clip. I hope the knee gets better, my arthitic ankle won't but it doesn't stop me riding. Stay safe and looking forward to future videos.

Welcome back Steve Iwan wandering where you had hibernated too. One thing I did pick up was your knee , well I’ve just had mine done (End of November ) and although it’s coming along fine , I can’t yet use the Beemer ( Same as yours ) . And at 78 years old the bike don’t get any lighter . I’ve been thinking of getting a Can Am Spyder , if I do I’ll send you a photo . We are looking at visiting my family back in the UK around August this year if we do I will be visiting my cousin in Hagworthington ,I will keep you posted on our plans. In the meantime ride safe ,enjoy the bike and look after that knee. Mal in Australia.
Nice to see you guys back on the bike's Steve, looking forward to seeing if you have any tour coming up and days riding out hope the knee gets better soon.
The recall is not a big problem they just replace the C clip that holds the pin in,I just did it myself, My nearest Bm dealer is over 70 miles away, but just for info got the drive shaft replacement at 36k odd letter in the post I am at 20k so bit of time to go
Hi Steve, Nice to see you and the lads back. Interesting the recall for the foot-pegs, I ride a 2002 RT1150 and not heard anything. Do you think mine might be like me, too old! Hi Steve. Its great to see you back my friend. That cinema film ..that was our wedding in 1980 (my god time's have moved on ) see you on the next one ....the old fella
It’s no good this getting old malarkey Steve!! I’m 73 and the Ducati is becoming a handful so use the Honda 750x more now! Cracking old video and good to see you back.
Good to see you are still riding, even with a dodgy knee (me too, its a bugger). Good to see the old film,........ 1979, geez, I married in 1977 and was seperated in 1979, so that was a good year for me too 🤣 I'm looking forward to some of your tours with the lads this year. Keep on riding ATB Big Dave Scotland
Hi Steve . Did I lip read you saying Wowsers happy people at the end of that very early vlog :))) Honda 250 super dream with the pressed steel wheels. haha have you always had a red bike.. I mean even back then you were aware of your channel branding .. lovely bit of sound scaping with the cine projector sound and a touch of the buster Keeton's :)) . Fantastic smile . took me back to my first bedroom wall poster.. The tennis girl scratching her bum next to a Honda 250 🤓💯🤳❤🩹 Superdream poster. hahaha :)))
Ha ha think we all had tennis girl poster 'Iconic' 😂 and yes started saying wowsers when i was 17 lol hope your all good Dave and best wishes to Paulina the better half 🤣😂🤣
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt just starting to enjoy semi retirement Steve. Got A trapped nerve in my elbow making me less abled, so just a part timer now.. Well I never, I was watching your vid on the loop of the Isle of skye last night after yet another wet, muddy windy ride. Glad your still enjoying biking. Been out 5 fairly long rides this year and still waiting for a completely dry ride.
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt i now have a 2018 R1200RT same colour as urs. This is a great bike too. Love it and in this mars red colour is best compared to other colour the model comes in
Welcome back Steve and yes its been raining for 5 months! I have managed to get for the odd hour in march. Hopefully ride some more now. Any plans for your group holidays. Cannot wait.
Nice little vid Steve, liked the old video footage, once a biker always a biker.Did you go to the Dave Myers ride out at Beverly, 6000 biker bet that was a site .
Hi Steve, Really enjoy your videos. Even though your channel's not about rating bike kit - any comments you could pass on about your Shark Evo helmet? Before i buy one
Hi there as far as the helmet goes I bought it for the ability to ride full face or open face and tend to spend 99 percent of the time open face. I think they are brilliant and versatile but can't really give you an opinion in the full face position. Hope that helps a little my friend
Good to see you back Steve and chapeaux somebody else who is sick to death of Willy woods, what's the attraction? Insta 360 on order,? John's looked good mate
Wasn't the place it was the ride out to it then on to Skeg, but don't think I will bother anymore not with with all the lowered speed restrictions and cameras, and cops, ride out to Mablethorpe probably better now.
Ey'up Steve, glad to see you back, not sure why but the footage from your helmet cam seemed to be bobbing up and down a bit, it normally seems really smooth, do you think its owt to do with your super gluing? Fingers crossed for a Europe trip from you. Many thanks. Jay.
Great to see you back Steve! I was only saying to the other half we haven't heard from you in a while! I had the same recall on my RT, unfortunately it was written off by a dozy woman driver who failed to give way 🤬 That cine film was epic, look at the Lionel Blairs!! 🤣My girlfriend at the time used to moan at me because my flares whipped her legs on the bike!! A Kawasaki Z400 twin I had back then! Regards Dennis.
And I was thinking you don't look a day over 45😂 I was also concerned for you. These days my rides are limited to 1.5hrs. I need to stop for a pee, or to stretch my left knee. Off to Ireland in a few days time and have just hurt my back 😡 Oh well, I will have to take some liquid painkillers 🍺
Hey Graham hope you have a great tour in Ireland it's a beautiful place and hope that the back improves quickly but like you say if needed keep taking liquid painkillers 😂 Ride safe mate and ENJOY !!!
One thing you forgot to Mention Steve, that you were much better looking in those days before all those Burgers and Fry ups.(my little Fat Lad on a Motorbike).

As always my favourite vlogger keeps me sane and out from under my Paulinas feet . Beginning to add to my channel and enjoying the challenges of a bit of woody Allen, Steven Spielberg . James Cameron and Steve Clark 📽🎬🤓💯
@@geraldfitzgibbon7428 They stress Cracked at the rivets . Yes you are right ,aluminium. We always used to remark needs to be in pressed steel. Hence my miss remembering🤔🤔🤕
@@tartanblackcountrytourist Hope the elbow gets good soon Dave and enjoy semi retirement my friend.
Well I never, I was watching your vid on the loop of the Isle of skye last night after yet another wet, muddy windy ride. Glad your still enjoying biking. Been out 5 fairly long rides this year and still waiting for a completely dry ride.
Yeah Chris been a lousy year so far mate but fingers crossed its on the up mate.
Wellcome back Steve
Thanks Bob

Totally agree great bike.

Happy days Craig ride safe my friend.
Nice little vid Steve, liked the old video footage, once a biker always a biker.Did you go to the Dave Myers ride out at Beverly, 6000 biker bet that was a site .
Hi Alan no I didn't go to the Dave Myers ride out but have to agree would have been some sight, hope your all good mate ride safe.
It's been along time Steve.
To long Joesph but more to come now hopefully, thanks mate.
Great to see you back .looking good Steve.
Good to be back at last Roger, ride safe my friend.
Yeah not bothered with the woods anymore, and no won't be getting a 360 at the moment their not for me fella
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt Keep the videos coming tho my friend love them
Ey'up Steve, glad to see you back, not sure why but the footage from your helmet cam seemed to be bobbing up and down a bit, it normally seems really smooth, do you think its owt to do with your super gluing? Fingers crossed for a Europe trip from you. Many thanks. Jay.
Cheers Jay sound nothing to do with superglue as that was just the lens, don't think I had the mic positioned quite right on this one mate.
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt maybe it’s me cause I watched your video without a beer. Serves me right. 🤣
@@JaySalvoUK 🤣😂🤣
Good to see you back Steve. Will there be a danger of you buying a 1250RT when you take your bike in for its recall?
Really happy with the 1200RT fella at the moment so luckily wont be reaching into my pocket at this moment mate.
🤣 Lionel Blairs love it lol sorry to hear about the RT Dennis hope you get sorted my friend.
And I was thinking you don't look a day over 45😂
I was also concerned for you.
These days my rides are limited to 1.5hrs. I need to stop for a pee, or to stretch my left knee.
Off to Ireland in a few days time and have just hurt my back 😡
Oh well, I will have to take some liquid painkillers 🍺
Hey Graham hope you have a great tour in Ireland it's a beautiful place and hope that the back improves quickly but like you say if needed keep taking liquid painkillers 😂 Ride safe mate and ENJOY !!!
FLARES
🤣 They'll be back lol
One thing you forgot to Mention Steve, that you were much better looking in those days before all those Burgers and Fry ups.(my little Fat Lad on a Motorbike).
🤣so true my friend
What helmet is that your wearing?
Hi Jason its the Shark Evoline series 3 my friend can be worn full face or open face, hope that helps.
