B6277 , yes indeed. The first time I rode it was in the same direction as you. I rode with my Brother and my Son. We rode up from Lancashire together on a wonderful day in the North where the sun got hotter and hotter throughout the day and the views were immense!
I must compliment on your video editing and choice of music. I haven't watched all your videos yet, mostly Scotland and NC500. Great job, thanks for putting all this together. It's a real pleasure to watch.
Hi Steve , the last time i went to Blanchland was 1984 doesn't look like its changed at all, I am an old ex motorcyclist now ( 78 )and live in Cornwall my wife loves to see your travels .what a great bunch of lads you all are hope you all have many more miles to go and places to visit so we can tag along in spirit at least .The last stop for petrol was hilarious the (scrote ) the wife wants to know what was bleeped out !!!! once again thanks for sharing your adventures with us ,look forward to the next one.
Thanks for the kind comments John and trust me the reason I edited in a load of beeps was so the likes of your wife and other upstanding people didn't hear John's terrible language 🤣 although the scrote deserved every word of it. 👍Thanks for watching the two of you and enjoy life down there in Cornwall a beautiful part of our country.
Not usually one to watch this kind of video but with you lads your riding style is so relaxed. Not in a hurry to get from A to B but enjoy every second of your trip. Loved seeing your journeys mate and although I’ve not had a bike for a few years it reminds me how good it can be when you have a good group of lads to go riding with. I’ve ridden quite a few of those roads on that loop myself and it’s so peaceful. Look forward to the next one and your always welcome up here. Ride safe boys snd as we say up here Gan Canny.
Hi Steve another great batch of videos, some people are saying these are the best you have done, although I nay be a little biased as I live here. Keep them coming and look forward to seeing the next series.
Thanks Steve great footage of roads I’ve ridden for around the last forty years. It’s a shame you didn’t turn left at Alston for the sake of a 10 minute ride you could have visited Hartside viewing point a popular stop for Bikes with views right across to the lakes. Thanks again 👍
Enjoyed watching this being a north eastern lad, My dad being from just outside blanchland means am up regularly on my bike to enjoy the scenery which is some of the best in the world. Shame you didn't take the meadows edge road out of blanchland, even more beautiful. Hope yous enjoyed the lovely north east
Really enjoyed the whole series. The impression I get is that it is similar to some areas of Yorkshire but so much quieter and tranquil . Once again many thanks for a great edited program. 👍👍
Hi Steve, I live 4 miles from Durham so I ride round these roads quite regular. In fact, I was in Blanchland on the 6th (Wednesday) of this month and went to the White Monk for lunch. If you are ever in Blanchland again, I thoroughly recommend the food there. The quality is top notch and prices reasonable plus there is ample free parking in the village. I always enjoy the views in that area going over the top of the moors. County Durham, Northumberland and the Yorkshire dales are a bikers paradise. Not much traffic. I used to go over to the lake district quite a lot but, in recent years, it has become very heavily inundated with tourists from all over the UK and further afield so it is no longer as pleasurable as it once was. Anyway, thoroughly enjoyed this video, shame you forgot your spare camera batteries. Make a note to oneself, do not forget batteries. 😁
Cheers for the heads up on the White Monk Jim I make notes every video when people give tips so thanks. Batteries was my bad and must do better. still managed to complete the video with johns footage. ride safe mate.
Indeed great roads on this route although the surface of the one towards the end looked a bit ropey, pothole patches, despite the views. A very enjoyable series. Thanks for making and sharing.
They say all good things must come to an end, but Steve you have excelled yourself yet again. obviously I'm biais, but you showed the North East off to a treat. I'm fortunate to be here in the Eastern Borders so all your rides are accessible to me. The 22 miles stretch with the snow poles looks fantastic. This tour is now my all time no.2 of yours so far, the Swiss one still just pips it. Thanks again for all the effort that goes into these videos, until the next time rids safe mate. ATB Big Dave Scotland
Big Dave always appreciate your positive comments and always makes me think its all worthwhile the hours put into editing and you really are lucky living where you do. Ride safe my friend.
Love all your your vids, I watch them looking at the places you visit and what the viewers wanna see, thanks for your time and effort you put in, especially the roads you ride and the places you pass through. Thanks for sharing and see you on your next adventure 🤙 🤟 👍
@6.16 it's the river Tyne. Hexham is where the actor Robson Green is from and lives there now, nice part of the country again .Just need to stop and drink it all in .
Regonised those Weatherspoons plates at the start of your video😅 Lucky enough to have a static caravan at Allendale it is on the door step of those fabulous roads . Middleton-in-Tessdale to Alston rode that road many times , brilliant road as you say . By the way the river is the Tyne at Corbridge!! Ride safe Robert
Fantastic series again all details you give are Bob on have just got a 900 diversion for touring on and looking at the places you have been I would recommend the Isle of Man to you when no racing is on its a beautiful place and good roads all round many thanks looking forward to next one you do and muzzy's comment had me in stitches about Adrian's wall hahaha

Thank you Steve for another lovely set of videos. They have been especially nice for me as I am originally from that area and seeing lots of the places you visited brought back hundreds of memories of being there with family and friends ❤️
Hi Steve, Really enjoying these videos please keep up the good work/enjoyment ! You mention the name Cresswell several times, the only time I have heard the name is in Dumfries South West Scotland there is a maternity hospital called Cresswell which the locals refer to as the 'Fastest Dog Track in Scotland' as you are no sooner in and the 'hairs' are off !! Cheers Neil from Thailand
Great stuff mate, followed a lot of that route on a Scottish trip a few years ago and the B6277 is permanently etched in my memory. A fantastic road. Look forward to your next ride Steve.
A really excellent series Steve. I rode the B6277 in June. I was on my way from a campsite at the top of Buttertubs Pass to Crieff. Like you, I picked bits of Simon's routes and joined them together and that was part of what I ended up with... ok I suppose, if you like that sort of thing. 🤣I'm currently planning a week in Moffatt for next year. I can't imagine where I am drawing my inspiration from. Thanks for taking us along, it's been a blast.
Really good series again Steve, you can't help but laugh at some of the comments from John and as for Mussy, they have me rolling about with laughter. Looking forward to the next trip. Have you anything planned yet? I guess it will be another Bikers Britain route lol.
Another great watch Steve, stunning scenery, and some great roads. Shame about the weather, but it sounds like you worked around it so you got to do all the routes you intended to.
Great seeing you all from side on. The RT looks great. How many miles have you clocked on the old girl? What a dump 😂😂😂 I hope there's more to come this year.
Good job once again. I appreciated the historical lay by. I’m in the northern Rockies, Idaho, and white man’s history starts in the 1880s. Some good Native American sites if you poke around, though. What’s up with the lad in the balaclava. Being an American from the boonies I didn’t catch on to he antipathy.

Hi Tam will be starting filming again as soon as we get the weather. Slowly getting better and nights drawing out so not long now my friend. Ride safe mate
That Middleton in Teesdale to Alston road is one of our all-time favourites. Think it's in our best biking roads vids. There's a couple of great waterfalls off that road; High Force and Low force. Well worth a walk up to. Sorry to see the rain, but that's what happens on tour in England. I wouldn't have let that balaclava t##t have fuel! Blimey they've turned pumps off on us for wearing helmets!!!!
Got to agree Richard the B6277 is superb and try getting Mussy to put his hand in his pocket to visit High Force ain't happening ha ha. I too have had fuel put on hold until I removed my helmet so proves they can turn fuel supply off if needed. For some reason your comment was in the "held for review" part of my comments section so sorry for late reply, ride safe you 2
Brilliant as always Steve. I always feel as though I'm riding along with you, I thoroughly enjoy your videos and roll on next year's riding season. A question, how do you not get any wind noise when you record, especially with a mostly open faced helmet? I've tried everything to banish that pesky wind noise and it still persists! What's your solution. Cheers and keep the videos coming.
Hi Paul and thanks for the comment. My camera mic is clipped to the back of the bigger comms mic I also have in helmet so just lucky this seems to work as a buffer so no tricks my friend.
Hi Roger I'm all good thanks but had a lot going on past few months but just about sorted now. As the weather hopefully improves i/we will be out and about again soon. Thanks for asking my friend. 👍
I did laugh at Johns rant however he’s very right to do so. Likely no license, insurance, tax or registration plate. Petrol station should not be selling fuel to these toe rags instead should contact police and supply CCTV footage. We had a couple of scrotes flying round our local shopping mall on illegal off roaders causing trouble until plod managed to solve it. Not a real biker among them……hmmmmm rant over 👍
Should not be serving that score on the Unlicensed illegal bike, he could have been any age, people under 16yrs cannot by law get fuel. Some of these garages have the cheek to ask you to remove your helmet, having a laugh arnt they..Boils my piss
Yeah Ray I have had a pump turned off until I remove my helmet before, so that's what amazed us that this little scrote just filled up as normal, the attendant obviously not bothered 🙄
Missed your videos Steve, hoping you’re getting better bud.
Catch you soon once our sun finally appears 🙂

Hi Paul and thanks for the comment. My camera mic is clipped to the back of the bigger comms mic I also have in helmet so just lucky this seems to work as a buffer so no tricks my friend.
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt hmm, Great idea actually. I thought I'd tried everything, except that!

Hi Chris pleased you enjoyed and am looking at MyRoute App at the minute but will continue using Basecamp as I know it so well.

Hi Steve are you OK we are worried about you no videos. * ** *** hope you're OK. *
Not a real biker among them……hmmmmm rant over 👍
100% Les all these scrotes should be locked up and should never be served petrol.
