    Yes, we have about the same type hair. My hair isn't liking crotchety which is why I started doing shorter braids or twists. And oh how I love some freshly cut ends! So satisfying!!

      Glad I’m not the only one that faces the issue with crochet! I did it all last year and it really thinned my hair

    Someone with thin hair, box braids doesn't work for us .It will pull your hair out .

      I did small box braids on myself recently and they were better for my edges

    Check your thyroid, vitamin D and Iron levels. The problem could be internal. Hypothyroidism or PCOS can cause brittle hair and nails that always break.

      Thank you , I just discovered I have PCOS after checking my hormones so that’s definitely one of the causes

    Loose crochet is better in a natural density. It just takes so long to do and if I have someone else do it. They always do too much..

      The adding too much is always my problem … even on myself sometimes I get carried away
