Battle Arms Development safeties seems to have larger gaps between lower receiver walls and the lever itself. On some forged lower the serrations on the lever would cut into the stop on the lower marring the finish. I know ambi safety tends to have gaps between the lever and the receiver wall for clearance reasons to accommodate something thicker like billet receivers, but even that those gaps on BAD-ASS-PRO still seems a bit excessive.
I really like the safety in my Geissele rifle. Feels good and has a nice positive snap. I have a bunch of Radian safeties in other builds, and honestly I don't care much for them. The levers feel okay, but the snap is mushy and not positive. I've heard stretching the spring a little can help with that, but I've not tried it yet. I definitely get the feeling I'll be swapping most of my Radians out for the FCD safety down the road.
Yeah I’ve tried 2 radian safeties. Both were absolute dog water. Mushy, and the levers felts so awkward. I don’t have a Geissele, but I have run peoples rifles who do, and the 90° isn’t for me.
I have a bunch of Colt ambi safety's. They all have the reversible drum. I don't know if they still do. But with that said. I like the Geissele ambi saftey. I was putting together all of my Sionics stuff with Geissele LPK's. I'd buy the Sionics gutless lower with the A5 extension and use the Geissele kits. Along with Geissele Super Tricon triggers. That I bought as open box from Primary Arms. $165.00 a piece one year.
Didn’t like badger or radian. Radian seemed ultra cheap for what they charge for it, and badger felt really mushy. Maybe I got a bad one, but I’ve felt others and they all felt similar.
@shootintheshtpodcast I had a few and problem with two. Didn't like them. I like the geissele one which has similar leverage design. Beginning to ve my favorite as of late. Nothing special, does what it needs to and stays out of the way when needed. But I do love the old BAD ones, unfortunately they aren't made anymore

As a Lefty as well, I only do 90 degree and the BAD safeties I dont care for their newer models, but have alot of their older models.

Forward Controls Designs makes some really nice products, but for $80 it better be the best safety ever made.

I was able to pick up a Bad-Ass-Lite from ar15 discounts on a 25% off sale for $45. I don't think there is a better safety for that price.

Wish FCD would make a non ambi safety
They do, they also make a drum that fits over the side you don’t want, and it’s just a small circle. Works for most who don’t like Ambi safeties
