Have you notificed variances in NP3 coating amongst BCGs even from the same manufacturer? I have 3 NP3 BCGs from Triarc. One that came with my first rifle from them and 2 that came with my second rifle (I ordered a spare). The first one looks much like the one in the video. The other two the finish is still very smooth but not as slick as the first and they are much more matte grey. The light reflects minimally compared to the first and the one in this video. Awesome video. Thanks

The wonder of did I really choose a good partner did I just buy the brand that got the most comments.
I don't believe any of the top 5 or 10 mfg bcg are better than the other.Snobs think the more they pay the more they get.For example a Porsche owner thinks his car is superior to a Corvette zr1 until the Vette embarrasses him on the track.Colts,DD,Bcm ect are as good and most of the time better than the boutique pretty bcgs.
I’m needing some help in the use of the iGaging tool, I see at the end, you have an additional piece to allowing you to measure protrusion of the firing pin. Is the piece purchase or did you fabricated it? I bought from eBay both the caliper and circular gauging tool. Help needed, thank you!
DS ARMS has NP3 sand-cut BCG that runs $130. Cheapest BCG I've seen with an teflon coating, and wonder how it compares to Forward Control Designs' NP3 SBCG.
Same, Sionics np3 is $160 on sale... curious how all these compare -- people are gonna have to start sending in their BCG so we can get true comparisons!
When tolerances are so tight, I understand firing is most efficient, however is there a chance that that might cause more jamming or wear? Sorry Im a noob at this stuff, just wondering! Nice BCG!
Shows how tight it will be around the support neck of the bolt, the gas rings, and the tail of the bolt.. a tighter neck means more solid lock up, a tighter tail means less gas seepage through the tail end of the gas chamber area ect
More green means more consistent gas/back pressure thus eliminating the BCG from hindering the barrel and ammo’s accuracy capabilities. Assuming the barrel and ammo is perfectly consistent and the gun never moves while fired, the rounds on target will be more consistently placed with a tighter seal. But we are talking about tiny variances that only matter in competition shooting (in compared to a passing yellow bcg).

I fabricated that piece. As they are sold they won't work for na AR15 Bolt.
I would love to get one of Sionics BCG but I can never seem to find them. Catching one from FCD is hard as well

The DS Arms is not even close to the FCD. I have observed horrible Q.C. from the DS Arms Sandcuttters.
